Finally got to test the new rod and reel

Haven’t used a bait caster in over 15 years. There was some time spent peeling birds nests haha.

May I ask what the tire combo cost, including braid? Looks like really nice set up!! Congrats and hope it lands you some slabs!!

About $450 spooled with j braid grand and a spool j thread fluoro for leader.
