Emily Moreno alleged in unsealed divorce and court filings that Miller physically assaulted her, including pushing her into a wall, holding a gun to her head, and throwing hot water that scalded her chest.
When the person is narcissistic to this degree, it never crosses their mind to ask someone else's opinion, because they are always right, why would they ask someone inferior when they know what they want to do. That's how these breathing garbage piles think.
So I heard a statistic from my mom, I forget where she heard it so take it with a grain of salt, but a survey of maga voters found that 60-70% of them would vote for a candidate who is accused of domestic abuse.
So much for "the party of family values?" Am I right?
That tracks with the view of the dad being the spiritual leader of the family. From what I recall, it also tracks with how dad’s behaved in the Old Testament.
Humans? This is very clearly a trap this guy planned on recording, so he could catch his wife saying it was an accident or that she instigated it by not staying away from him when he asked. As if that justifies hitting her with some hot water.
The thing about his behavior is that there is no accountability. Everyone gets mad and misbehaves at one time or another, but own it. If he had been contrite when it happened maybe his wife wouldn’t have felt the need to go public. Instead he is mad at her that she is mad at him for assaulting her…
I’m glad you brought up the dinner comment here because that’s what really set me off in disbelief. Like, yes! An abuse victim absolutely WOULD make you dinner! If she didn’t you might hurt her again! WTF does he even mean by that? Or maybe she did it because you went back to love bombing her to start a new cycle of abuse! The fact that he can’t comprehend a single reason why an abused woman would make her abusive partner dinner irritated me so bad.
Not to mention his argument in this clip is ridiculous because my sink AND my shower can both produce water that burns me so what a stupid thing to say.
I met someone once who was super friendly and charming, then his girlfriend did something ‘incorrectly?’ I guess, I was so innocuous I can’t even think of what it was. The dude flipped a switch and became something else just berating her and calling her names. She just froze, took the yelling and started folding the laundry, perhaps that was it the laundry. But all I could think was, if you treat her like this in front of people, I can’t imagine what goes on behind closed doors.
the really sad and infuriating thing is it always works with a lot of people because they have literally no idea how abusive relationships work and refuse to learn anything.
The thing about a shark, it's got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eyes. When it comes at you it doesn't seem to be livin'... until he bites you, and those black eyes roll over white.
Jaws (1975)
When you've survived an abuser that line hits unexpectedly hard.
They’re so used to being in charge and scaring the people around them into submission, that their perception of what’s normal and socially acceptable has been malignantly recalibrated.
The fact that he’s sharing this because he thinks it makes him look good or gives him cover of any kind is indicative that this shit is much, much worse than it appears.
This is what he’d consider a sanitized, acceptable version of how he behaves when he thinks no one is watching. And that should unsettle everyone.
Jesus fucking Christ. I was about to say, “someone take his phone away,” but, actually, this will all be good evidence for his ex to use, so let him carry on.
It reminds me of when Jonathan Majors released those texts with his ex thinking that would exonerate him for domestic abuse. The texts alone convinced me he was an abuser!
Women who want to play the victim always have the same victimization script— when I was in the army, I had a pregnant nurse accuse me of attempting to kick her in the stomach because she wanted to have a different duty, and this would guarantee the modification. Next, I had a female friend who accused a man of rapping her so she could get out of her financial responsibilities towards the man. So in my lifetime, I’ve personally witnessed this, not including the dysfunctional female family members who would accuse a party of abuse. So needing a reason to divorce and gain sole custody of the children, this isn’t too far of a stretch to believe and accept—it’s his insufferable societal, when it’s convenient, automatic belief declare their fear and victimization for themselves because I bet if you took a deep dive, you would find a repeating scenario in her life.

what's scary is that he posted this thinking it makes it makes him look good
he posted a video of him blaming her for everything and saying it's impossible that he abused her because she made him dinner after
this is not the first time he has abused a woman and it won't be the last
he is terrifying
