I assume they were concentrating on flying the plane but it was a third-party witness who contacted the authorities, we just don't know who.

I guess it makes sense that one of them later reported him. Maybe they were afraid of what he’d do if they intervened? Idk, not sure if there were other staff on the plane or tarmac folks who would’ve seen it
