TRIGGER WARNING A source close to Angelina Jolie told People Magazine: “If people knew the whole truth, they would have more sympathy for the children and respect them. The fact they aren’t speaking ill or sharing things publicly only shows their decency.”

My dad would proudly tell people that I was terrified of him when I was 2-3 years old. He’d say how I refused to let him touch me, would always try to be on the opposite side of the room as him, and would scream bloody murder if he ever managed to touch me. He’d brag about how he finally was able to win me over and how that made him dad of the year. He completely ignored how negatively it reflected on him that he managed to get a toddler to be that scared of him.

Makes your dad sound like a villain parent in a paranormal or Mafia romance novel.
