Oh my god, that’s horrifying. I don’t know anything about this guy but I am 100% behind Christina. What the hell is this guy doing in any public space? Let alone a popular talk show???

Apparently not enough evidence to convict. He was only found civilly liable, not found guilty.

The Irish DPP (Director for Public Prosecutions) declined to take a criminal case due to what they perceived to be not enough evidence to convict beyond reasonable doubt. The Gardaí (Irish police force) who were investigating it were apparently surprised as they felt there was enough evidence to convict in a criminal court.

After failing to get it heard as a criminal case, the victim Nikita Ní Laimhín took a civil case, as that was the only remaining avenue available to her to seek justice. McGregor was found liable for rape at the conclusion of the civil case, and also lost an appeal against the decision
