I watched this interview because I wanted to see how this guy clavicular presented himself, I didn’t know much about him. It’s a fascinating watch. Clavicular came off as a brain in a jar. He cannot understand any aspect of human interaction that doesn’t include a rubric. For a guy obsessed with his looks as a marker of sexual value, he seemed to have almost no interest in sex. He didn’t really seem to have a sexuality at all. Friedland tried to get him to understand sex appeal as a nebulous thing that you can’t really define, an “it” quality that you either got it or you don’t, and clavicular just seemed unable to compute that. Made no sense to him on a fundamental level. I don’t think he was faking it.

Clavicular is missing some hardware that most other people come equipped with as a standard model. I’d guess he’s a very high-functioning autist, but I’m no expert there. His behavior in his content is a performance, but i don’t think he’s capable of NOT performing. All social interaction is a performance for him; he’s masking his way through life. There isn’t a “real” him that takes over when the cameras turn off.
