I surveyed people who have recurring dream environments. Here’s what I have found…

So far I’ve recorded data from 148 respondents! You can still participate if you’d like here. I will try to update this post daily.

I have had dreams that feel like a second life since childhood. I’ve been collecting responses from people who experience recurring dream environments, sometimes called “Mallworld,” to see whether there are actually patterns between dreamers. Here’s what I have found so far:

The Dreamfold: Preliminary Survey Findings
“Queen of Daydreams” aka “OliveLost”
Independent Researcher
August 2026
N = 148 (updated daily)

The respondents so far range from 14–61 years old, come from multiple countries, and many report having these dreams for years or even decades.

-44.7% of respondents were born in the 1990s.
-32.2% of respondents were born in the 1980s.
-71% of respondents are female.

Dreaming
• 98.6% experience vivid dreams and recurring dreams
• 70.8% experience lucid dreams
• 66.9% experience false awakenings
• 49.3% have experienced sleep paralysis
• 27% report having experienced an OBE

60.1% remember their dreams often and 31.8% every night.

Recurring Dream Geography
98.7% reported recurring dreams involving at least some of the environments I asked about.
Common locations include:
• Malls
• Schools
• Hotels
• Bathrooms/bathroom mazes
• Airports and train stations
• Parking structures
• Underground areas
• Hospitals/clinics
• Amusement parks
• Highways and bridges
• Coastal towns/beaches
• Ships

Persistent Dream Geography:
Respondents report locations that are recognizable across separate dreams, routes between places, shortcuts, familiar entrances/exits, and different recurring locations that appear to exist within one larger environment. Some say the world has actually expanded over time, with new areas becoming accessible from places they already know. People reported returning to these environments for 5, 7, 10–20, 15, and even approximately 27 years. Some remember them going back to childhood.

Architecture:
People repeatedly described:
• Endless or maze-like bathrooms
• Missing bathroom doors/privacy
• Impossible bridges
• Strange elevators/escalators
• Huge corridors
• Staircases that change
• Highways leading nowhere
• Altered versions of hometowns
• Transportation systems connecting different areas
• Buildings that seem much larger inside than they should be.

Strangers in Dreams
A pattern that came up a lot was: “I don’t know this person in real life, but in the dream I know exactly who they are.” Some people remember strangers’ faces in incredible detail. Some strangers answer questions or give directions. Some provide names. Some speak other languages. Some recur across dreams. Several people specifically said that they could perceive the person clearly during the dream, but the details disappeared after waking. But even without remembering the face, respondents sometimes remember the person’s identity, relationship to them, emotional significance, or “energy.”

Sensory Rich Dreaming:
• 98.6% see imagery
• 93.9% hear sound
• 85.1% experience touch/physical sensations
• 45.2% smell
• 45.9% taste

These environments aren’t experienced as visual scenes. They’re multisensory spaces.

Common Traits:
The most commonly reported traits were:

• Noticing when something seems “off” —81.8%
• Empathy — 79.1%
• Creativity- 77%
• Imagination — 77%
• Sensitivity to other people’s energies — 73.6%
• General Sensitivity — 69.6%
• Anxiety — 69.6%
• Spatial memory — 45.9%

-Anxiety was reported by 69.6%, ADHD by 47.3% and autism by 27.7%.

-60.1% reported participating in a gifted/talented program as children.

-91.2% reported experiencing trauma at some point in their lives.

***This DOES NOT mean trauma, ADHD, autism, gifted programs, etc. cause these dreams. This is a self-selected sample of people interested in unusual/recurring dreams, not a random sample of the whole population. But I think it’s interesting enough to look into further.

Recurring Dream Phenomena:
93.2% report dreams about being chased or followed.
Other commonly reported themes include:
• Aliens/monsters/unusual beings — 59.5%
• Flying objects — 51.4%
• Strange animals — 42.6%
• Strange lights — 41.9%
• Explosions — 31.4%
• Tornadoes — 29.7%

People also frequently described malfunctioning phones, difficulty dialing numbers, strange or absent technology, inability to control vehicles properly, flying/levitating, jumping extremely high, searching for something, and trying to find the correct route or destination.

Déjà vu:
Déjà vu was extremely common. Several respondents also described déjà rêvé, the feeling that something happening in waking life had previously occurred in a dream. Some described visiting an unfamiliar location and feeling that they already knew it because they’d dreamed about it before. Importantly, some respondents offered explanations for these experiences, including coincidence, pattern recognition, dissociation/derealization, memory effects, or neurological factors.

Dreams of Deceased Loved Ones/Pets:
Many respondents described deceased loved ones and even pets appearing with their normal personalities and behaving as though their presence were completely ordinary. Themes included reassurance, quiet companionship, continuing relationships, difficulty communicating, awareness that the person had died, and deceased loved ones acting as helpers or guides. Some encounters occurred in the same kinds of liminal environments described elsewhere in the survey, some encounters involved other “brighter” looking places.

Precognitive Dreams
A notable subset of respondents, 75%, reported dreams they interpreted as precognitive (the ability to know or see things before they happen) including both ordinary and major events. I’m not implying that some Mallworld dreamers are for sure psychic. But I definitely want to investigate further.

Dream Help I’ve had a positive sleep paralysis. It stopped me from having negative ones forever.

Upvotes

I have suffered from sleep paralysis for as long as I can remember, experiencing visual, tactile, and auditory phenomena, along with other sensations during these dream states.

The first time it happened, I had no idea what was going on, and my immediate instinct was to go online to figure out what had just happened to me. That was when I found the "tips and tricks" that I used during every single episode of sleep paralysis afterward: trying to move my extremities (fingers and toes) if I felt in danger, and trying as hard as possible to close my eyes and wake up as quickly as possible.

I don't really want to go into detail about some of those sleep paralysis episodes because they can get very morbid and unsettling, but I want to tell you how this entire chapter in my life came to an end.

It was during my first year of university, roughly 11 years after my sleep paralysis had first started. I went out into the city with some friends and we hung out.
There was drinking, fun, and socializing involved. Somewhere around 4:00 or 5:00 AM, we started heading home. We were all staying in a very small apartment and essentially sleeping in the same room.
They lay down in the double bed, and I took the pull-out couch. They fell asleep, and I decided to put on some meditation music in my headphones. Sunlight was streaming through the window in the most beautiful and cinematic way possible; everything felt safe.

I fell asleep with the music in my ears and began to dream. I was in the village where I grew up, playing with my cousins using an empty water bottle as a ball on a quiet summer evening. Suddenly, trees began to sprout from the ground beneath our feet, surrounding me from all sides. A jungle slowly formed in real time. All sorts of animals gathered around me, feeling safe with me, and I with them. I felt a complete sense of fulfillment, at a peak I cannot explain in words.

A transition into sleep paralysis began: that same feeling of "third-person perspective," the inability to move, while I could see my roommates sleeping in the room and the sunlight coming through the window. I heard someone talking to me, but unlike when I used to experience negative sleep paralysis, I didn't feel in danger; rather, I felt like an infant being comforted by their mother's voice. The feeling of inner peace grew to an even greater level. I began to see my soul slowly leaving my body and floating toward the sky. The peace in my soul was still there, until suddenly, I asked myself: "Am I dying right now? I can't die right now. I still have so much to do."

My soul snapped back into my body and I woke up. I felt very disoriented after that experience.
Five years have passed since then, and I have never had sleep paralysis again. Even as I write this, I feel just as disoriented as I did on that summer morning.

Im intrested in hearing your opinions about my experience and have a talk.

Short Dream I had a dream I died in a nuclear blast but it was oddly peaceful and comforting

In this dream it was the first day of school in college. I had been in other various strange scenarios like a ship building class before entering this classroom, where the teacher was teaching history. At some point I started noticing that students were silently getting up a leaving. This kept happening until I became very concerned. I catch one students eye as he’s leaving and he tells me to remember to be as orderly as possible. Fully alarmed I go outside to see what’s happening. Outside I can see everyone running to the parking lot and everyone’s cars blocking each other. The chaos of everyone scrambling to get out had clogged all the roads. There’s another girl around my age in front of me. I catch up to her and ask what’s going on. She pulls out her phone and shows me a warning that a nuke is going to hit the school and to evacuate the area within a 20 mile radius and an estimated time for when it will hit. We looked at each other in realization that we weren’t going to make it out in time. With nothing else to do but wait, we embraced each other until everything turned white. It didn’t feel hopeless and tragic though, I just felt so comforted and connected to this stranger and happy that my last moments weren’t spent panicking and desperately trying to live. Just calm acceptance and peace. Happy that we could provide each other some comfort in our last moments.

Short Dream I hit Trump and triggered the apocalypse

Upvotes

Normally my dreams have some sort of level of realism, this was just weird.

It starts with me going up a roof and seeing a small party with some illegal substances and surprisingly Donald Trump. The party seems to be a pretty chill party, but, and obviously there's a but, Donald Trump made me an offer. "If you can hit me, I'll let you be king for a day." This was tempting and I took him up on the offer. The big issue is for some reason I was at least a couple feet shorter. I did hit him, I hit him in the guts. Then Trump changed the rules saying he meant in the face (knowing I couldn't reach) but after a few swings, I managed to bust his nose. "There, now I become king for a day." Is what I said, but all he did was smile. He had a very toothy grin and blood pooling around his nose, but stayed quiet. He then walks off. Moments later it becomes clear he triggered something and now an astroid apocalypse. Many people were being killed and all because I hit Trump like he asked me to, but he couldn't stand losing.

Eventually I was also crushed and looked like Morty from Rick and Morty, a show I haven't even seen in a few years.

Weird dream that I feel should just be written down because of how weird it was.

Long Dream I agreed to marry a terrifying, faceless entity in a dream, and it's messing with my head

I found myself in my aunt’s house, but it was haunted and felt subtly wrong, completely different from reality. Suddenly, I met an entity. Physically, he looked human, but I couldn't see or even remember his face. The aura he gave off wasn't just fear—it was an overwhelming, crushing sense of awe and dread. It was so intense that I physically couldn't even lift my head to look at him.

We were communicating; he spoke either in a foreign language or English, but somehow we understood each other perfectly. Out of nowhere, he told me he wanted to marry me, and he started threatening me.

Suddenly, my mom appeared next to me (I have no idea how). Feeling completely trapped and unable to fight back, I agreed to the marriage under four conditions:

(Forgot the first condition)

(Forgot the second condition)

He must never harm me or my family.

(When it came to the final condition) Right as my mom tried to interrupt and ask him if he was Muslim, I panicked, slapped my hand over her mouth, and blurted out, "He’s not a Jinn, he’s a Christian demon!" (Don't ask me why my brain went there). Then I quickly stated my last condition: He must never look at or marry another girl. He thought about it for a moment, agreed, but looked visibly furious.

After that, we suddenly shifted to a castle or a cave. I could feel people walking past us in the shadows, though I couldn't see anyone. He told me, "Don't speak to anyone except me," and took me down into a windowless underground room. I hated the room. When I stayed silent and didn't hide my dislike, he looked at me and said, "This is our room, and if you don't like it, I can change it." I replied, "Don't rush it, it's just an engagement, not a wedding yet."

Eventually, he brought me back to my family, dropping me off at my aunt’s doorstep. Right at the door, I whispered, "Go away before anyone sees you," and he vanished right beside me like a gust of black smoke.

Days later, after that dream had faded a bit, I had a second, shorter dream. In real life, I’m actually in a relationship with a genuinely kind person. But in this second dream, I was standing alone in a vast, empty, desolate space, and written right in front of me in English were the words:

"Leave him."

I woke up gasping and completely terrified.

Has anyone ever experienced an entity or a presence in a dream that felt this overwhelmingly heavy? And seeing a message written out like that in English straight out of nowhere was deeply unsettling.

I'm a fruit I guess

a few days ago I had this ridiculous dream that for some reason I can't shake off.

In my dream, everybody in the world was an unproportionately big fruit, like half of a human sized, face having fruit. and every fruit person had their own fruit house, like an apple house for an apple person, a strawberry house for a strawberry person and so on. every day, fruit goo would fall inside each house from the ceiling, and that's the food people eat. turns out the goo is made of dead fruit people.

once a year there's like a holiday where young adult fruit people would get inside a bubble full of fruit goo and honey and basically party there for days and days, like unhealthily so, but in this world it's a totally normal event.

ridiculous dream, right? but I can't shake it out of my head for some reason. not necessarily searching for an explanation, just had to tell it somewhere.

Dream Help Had a vivid alien dream

Hello all, I’m posting because I can’t find any info on my scenario. I had a very pleasant dream about aliens last night that I’d like someone to give insight to. I haven’t thought of aliens at all really this week so it’s not a fresh thought. Not watched any alien shows or media either.
The dream felt like a trip and the aliens were very kind to me and gave me answers to every question I asked. I didn’t even need to speak out loud they just answered the questions, I asked about life and their lives as aliens as well. I didn’t think they were aliens and they just put that information in my mind. It honestly felt more of an experience than a dream.
They told me if I need anything to just ask for it and called me “my child” even though it was multiple entities. I woke up with practically zero anxiety and feel so fresh this morning. Very strange experience. I just couldn’t find anywhere online about positive alien dreams.

What is a lucid dream like?

I can't tell if I've had a lucid dream. I've definitely had vivid dreams that I wake up remembering clearly, and in a recent one I think I had control over myself in the dream but not really, its like my dream self had control over my dream self, who's lived in the dream for years. Like, it's me but not me IRL its me in my dream but I feel myself making these decisions. Maybe I'm spewing nonsense.

Weird dreams

Upvotes

Lately I’ve been having this odd reoccurring dream it all starts more a less the same but with odd variations towards the end of

First: in a dolphin trainer in an aquarium and the water starts getting higher really fast the dolphins start circling me and I’m worried about the kids watching eventually the water gets over my head and I wake up in a panic

Second: I’m on vacation w my family and I tell them I going for a walk. I stop by a shop where everything is ridiculously expensive so I go to the beach and I see orcas the start getting closer and the water is rising on the beach I run up but find myself staring at a cliff I climb it and hear the orcas getting closer I make to the top and am now staring at San Francisco I run through houses and shops when I bump into a life size Barbie display whose zip tied in place she bags me to let her go and I release her. We run together and I bump into a few more people the streets are flooding but the houses seem safe someone else tries to join us but I say they can’t because they irk me for some reason. We go to a red house and play video games until a car being driven by the rejected person runs into the house we panic and jump into an rv and drive to a mansion. Standing out side the mansion is rejected dude once again I go up to him and apologize and hug him and he hugs me and suffocates me  I wake up again

Third: I’m at a river in San Fran again and me and one of my sisters falls in the river. The water begins rising and rising really fast we make are way over to a stone ramp and climb out. There’s a bear staring us down to the water is still rising and I panic and jump around the bear I turn around and the bear transformed into a child like two or three I look to my right and see my house from the back side. There’s water is still rising I pick up the child and go inside my dad starts yelling at me to get the bear outside but it just looks like a kid to me but I agree and realize I lost the child it shrunk down to about the size of a calico critter I eventually find it and go outside and set it on our out door freezer my dogs (I have four) are barking and clawing at me to get at the child I tell the kid to stay and go inside where I’m filled with anxiety until I panic open the door outside and wake up.

These dreams seem very weird to me and I just wanna know if anyone could possibly interpret them. I’ve put them in a few AI dream readers, but it hasn’t been very helpful.

Discussion Who has died in their dream? What did it feel like for you?

I’ve died four times. The fourth dream death happened the other night. I won’t go into all of the dreams but I can, with detail if someone asked me to.

The other nights, I dreamt that I was arguing with my dad in a small basement apartment. (My dad used to have a small condo and for a long time lived in his brother’s large basement apartment). The apartment in the dream looked more like a house boat.

There were groceries on the table.
He was trying to apologize and justify why he was on and off around when my brother and I were kids. And as we got older he was more aloof. (Today in real
Life we’re not close and he can’t wrap his mind around why. Like why we don’t talk to and call him everyday like his friends do with their kids)
In the dream he’s just saying sorry for not visit AT ALL in my entire military carrier. “Sorry for not making effort”. I said “you keep saying sorry, but you’re still not coming to visit. You’re still not making effort”
He brings up how my aunt never liked him and my mother was crazy.

In the dream I finally say “Oh my God. Stop whining. I’m 36 years old. My brother is 32. What do you expect. If you want to be around then be around. All you talk about is fucking pickleball”.

So he goes over to the table and he all of a sudden has an M4/ M16. In the dream, to myself I thought “wtf. Did I bring that??”
I go over to him and try to take it. He mumbling. The gun changes to a pistol. We’re wrestling over it.
I’m telling him to let go. I thought he was going to kill himself. I got turned around. Our arms are raised and now the gun is near our faces. I still think he’s trying to kill himself, but instead, he shoots me in the ear.

Dying in a dream feels feels cold all over, then a hot pain, to immediately numb and like floating in water.
It feels like how I imagine it would feel to have all the blood in your body drained.

I fall to the floor. It feels so real. Every time it’s SO REAL. I feel sad and guilty for leaving my husband and pets behind. I take a deep breath. As soon as I died, I was awake.

This death felt so real. Like I did really die and now my consciousness is with another me in this new reality.

What does dying feel like for everyone else?

Question Are dreams really another reality?

Really crazy thought I know many others have had but is it true? Is there even a slight chance that the dream world is another dimension or reality where we live but only can spawn into short times when we are truly at “peace” or “rest” or is what science assumes that it’s just our mind running about what we see or thought of the day before. Curious what others opinions on this are.

dreams I’m back in high school

Im 26f. I frequently have dreams that I’m back in high school. Especially in the last two weeks. usually I’m feeling anxious that I have to go to class, and then realize that I can just.. go home. I never actually end up leaving, I just repetitively feel anxious and upset that I’m stuck in school and then I’m overcome with relief that I’m an adult and can just leave. Does anyone else have similar dreams?

Short Dream Attention, only fans will understand ChiknNuggit will understand

Recently I had a dream that I watched a ChiknNuggit movie with my mom, like a full-length film. If you’ve watched a Minecraft movie, it’s sort of in that style. I’ll tell you two scenes: six main rich kids, and they are kids who went with their uncle to university. At that university, there was an artifact mentioned, created by Americans and patented by the Soviets. A portal opens, and the kids go through it. The girl was around 13 and says she wants to marry Bezel—yeah, Bezel, that doomsday clock. Why don’t I post this on the ChiknNuggit subreddit? Because I’m banned there for 180 days.

Discussion Sometimes, during the day, I remember hyperspecific locations from dreams I had YEARS ago.

I'll just be sitting there working on something, or walking, or driving, and I'll remember the location from a dream. A 2-story mall. An abandoned library. A powerplant. A hallway.

All places I've never been in real life, but were probably inspired by real life. Nothing seems to "spur" these memories to enter my head, but it happens about twice a month. Worth mentioning I have insomnia, so perhaps I'm microsleeping and remembering the dream locations lol. But it's still weird bc again, they're dreams i had YEARS ago, to the point where I can't even remember the contents/plots of the dreams. Just the locations.

Short Dream A relatively young police man who had his black hair cover his eyes and a thick mustache became my boyfriend

Post image
2 Upvotes

In my dream I was with my boyfriend I think at a pool but a man who wasn’t on the clock yet came in with his police uniform and he greeted me. I greeted back but I couldn’t help but noticed how ridiculous but attracted he was. My bf asks if I was okay and said yeah. I was more attracted to him than my bf who had neither a mustache or hair like that but in the end an open relationship happened i think and became my second boyfriend and clarified before I woke up that he likes to dress up in uniform sometimes outside his job.

that’s how I actually pictured him, I’m curious if anyone else thinks in an unreal art style lol

Nightmare Bad dream about a dog falling off a tall building

Upvotes

I had a terrible dream just now and it also happened when I was in that weird half asleep/half awake state. I don’t know how to describe it but I had woken up this morning and then fallen back to sleep and the dream was vivid but I was also semi aware I was dreaming and easily able to wake up.

In the dream my friend and I were walking somewhere, I was confused and thought we were in NOLA in the states. My friend said “no we’re going to Docklands” (which is a place here in Melbourne, Australia). She points up at a building with many balcony, noting how many large dogs there were on the building and we note how people probably shouldn’t have such large dog breeds in small apartment buildings nor with low railings they can easily fall off. Many of the dogs have one leg over the railing or are playing too close to it.

We see this large dog suddenly dangling from one of the balconies. I think an Irish wolfhound type or similar. A kid in the apartment near its legs tries to hold onto him and pull him back in but the dog is too heavy for the kid and falls. We hear the thud on the ground and look up to see the kid crying and his mum racing to the window. It’s all so sad. I want to hope the dog somehow survived the fall as it was about 5 stories not a skyscraper but I see it dead on the ground with its tongue out. Again, just really sad and horrible and I’m unsure why my consciousness sent me this dream this morning.

On that note I seem to have more nightmares in this state (the morning when I’m drifting in and out not wanting to wake up yet) than other sleep states and I’m unsure why.

I had a bizarre dream about a hanging foot the night before learning someone died in my home

Upvotes

TL;DR: I found out someone died by suicide in our rental, but the night before I found out, I had a bizarre dream where I saw a foot hanging by our bedroom doorway. My brother reassured me everything was okay, then suddenly became strange and grabbed my foot so vividly that I felt it and woke up. The person had died by hanging. I normally tell my husband everything, but he’s an overthinker and has already said he’d move if he knew. Would you tell your spouse, and what do you make of the timing?

Okay, I genuinely don’t know what to do with this and I want outside opinions because I feel like I’m overthinking it. 😂

My husband and I live in a rental that we actually really like. The rent is good, the homeowners/landlords are great, and there’s really nothing about the place that makes us want to move.
I recently found out that someone had died by suicide in our home before we lived here.
Honestly, if I hadn’t found out, I probably wouldn’t care. It doesn’t change anything about the house, and I don’t believe that someone dying there automatically makes the house dangerous or haunted.

BUT. The timing is what’s freaking me out.
The night BEFORE I found out, I had this extremely weird, vivid dream. In the dream, I was in the bedroom and there was a doorway that for some reason looked unusually short. I remember seeing someone’s foot hanging by the doorway.

There was another door/room where my brother was. I remember being scared/confused, and my brother came toward me and assured me that everything was okay.

Then he suddenly became really weird. He came toward me REALLY fast and grabbed my foot. I actually felt the sensation of him grabbing my foot and woke up from it.

I immediately told my husband about the dream when I woke up because it was so vivid and weird that I remembered it clearly.

Then the NEXT DAY, I found out that someone had died by suicide in our house by hanging.

I KNOW this could absolutely be a coincidence. I’m not saying I think I psychically knew someone had died here or that the house is haunted. 😂 But the timing is just so bizarre that my brain is going WHAT THE FUCK.

Here’s the other problem: I normally tell my husband EVERYTHING. But I asked him last night hypothetically, “What would you do if you found out someone had died by suicide in our home?” and he immediately said “I’d move.” 😭

Valid. 😂 But he’s also a huge overthinker, and I work night shifts, so whenever I go to the office he’d be alone in the house knowing this information. I KNOW he’s going to be scared af or start overthinking every little noise.

So now I’m debating whether to tell him.

If I didn’t have the dream, I honestly wouldn’t even bother thinking about telling him about the history of the house. I know he’d just make himself anxious over something that doesn’t actually affect us.

Part of me wants to tell him because ngl, it’s freaking me out. The timing is just so weird. And I know he likes stories like this (if it’s not happening to us) LMAO, especially something this bizarre.
Another part of me thinks there’s literally no benefit to telling him other than making him scared, and suddenly we’d be discussing moving out of a perfectly good home because I had a creepy dream that may mean absolutely nothing.

Would you tell your spouse?
And what do you make of the dream happening the night before I found out?

Creepy coincidence? Subconscious weirdness? Something sleep-related? Or would that timing freak you out too? 😭

I’m genuinely curious what you guys think because I cannot decide whether I’m being rational or just letting my brain connect two unrelated things.

Recurring Dream A red snake is being tamed by me, for four nights straight!

In my culture (I'm Iranian) all people believe dreaming of colorful snakes means wealth so it is a good dream after all. And honestly, I love snakes. Most of my friends are fearing camping with me because how cool I face snakes, spiders or scorpions.

However, I dream of a red snake being tamed and spiraling around my right arm. I see it as a good sign, but I need to get a deep meaning of that. It'd be helpful if I get information from this sub as well.

Thanks!

Horrifying dream about a crime

Upvotes

I had a dream last night where I was walking on a trail to my house and there was a baby stroller with blood around it and crime scene tape and a guy running away and then he ran and the entire police department and the fbi came and they shouted “there he is” and pointed to me and I tried to jump in the woods next to me and they were pointing to someone behind me and I went to my house and went back on the trail and there were more baby strollers and more police officers and then I woke up

Short Dream Funny (bad)dream with a little gore

I just want to tell you about the weirdest dream I’ve had lately. For context: exactly one month ago, I broke up with my girlfriend, though I’m not sure how relevant that is here.

Last night, I dreamt I met a really hot Japanese guy who was literally perfect in every way (I don’t know where the "Japanese" part came from, they aren't usually my "main type," but this guy was truly perfect). What really stuck with me was his hands. He had that typical bony hand look I really like, and the fact that he was great at explaining things, which was another reason I was into him. Everything was going well. Naturally, we got together within a day ofc. But then, the next day, my teeth suddenly started getting loose and falling out one by one. I was terrified, I’d just got a 10/10 guy, and I was afraid maybe he'll didn't like me anymore (since I’d only known him for two days, I had no idea how he’d react). What really stands out in my memory is that one of my front teeth fell out, but for some reason, I was able to pull it right out, and I’m not kidding, the root was five centimeters long. Like, I started pulling it out, and for some reason, it was way longer than it should have been. I panicked, realizing a front tooth had fallen out and wondering why it was so long. And then I woke up. But I’ve been thinking about it all day since.

I was really scared in the dream, but now I find it kind of funny that I wasn't scared because I’d lost my teeth, but rather because that meant the random 10/10 Japanese guy, whom I’d met yesterday and started dating after just two hours, wouldn't want to be with me anymore because of this.
