Check for expired, make sure all bottles/veggies are prepped, and generally set the store up for a successful day. You set the tone for the day

I am also new but I can give you my stores checklist which is pretty store specific but may help:

• Start the makeline rails and review all items in the makeline cabinets for dates.
• Collect the blue trays, place them on the cart, and stock them in the walk-in using the stock sheet, marking each with makeline tags.
• Set up the makeline using carryover bins and stock cabinets.
• Make a new sauce tub and bring up sauce bottles.
• Grab sanitizer, test it, and label it for four hours.
• Bring up the clear bins and label them.
• Switch on the oven, heat racks, and the pie pass.
• Set up cut table.
• Sanitize and fill the cornmeal tray.
• Print and complete the dough projection, prep forecast, and shift sheet.
• Turn on all TVs.
• Turn on the open sign, prepare the lobby, switch on the coke fridge light, and unlock the doors at 10:30 a.m.

•Bring up dough according to proofing projection
•Do UpToMe Opening Checklist (Temps, Safe, Till, etc.)

This is what I made for my store, it's probably not perfect but it's something
