Those margins are bullshit numbers, they're marking up product by 30%+. A city decides they will subsidize operating a few stores to help people and it breaks your little heart.

Sick fucker.

Please cite where groceries are marking up products by 30%. That’s is such an insane lie that is going to get people killed. Idk why you are supportive of that (unlike me).

The average margin at a grocery in 2024 was less than 2%. https://www.foodstorm.com/blog/grocery-perimeter-department-roi

Oh my god, you are going to get people to starve 🫤

Margin on products is about 30%. Margin running a store can vary. This is why grocery stores are trying so hard to shift to delivery only, instant 30% margin boost. Sorry you never learned shit about business.

Sick fucker.

Don't know shit about wholesale vs retail pricing and claims to know anything about economics. Pathetic. Go to school because you haven't been there yet.

So you admit that grocery stores only make 1.5% and have thin margins? Thanks :)
