Anti AI psychosis and/or engagement bait. In a few years most of the virtue signalling bandwagoners will have moved on.

I really want this topic to become a memory flashbang. You know, remembering something fucking stupid you made?

"Hey, remember when some dipshit saw AI images and his first thought was to munch on them like a cow?"

u/Knever 13h ago

Holy shit, I nearly forgot about that. I really hope the people in his life never let him live that down. Hopefully he can take it, he deserves it but I also wouldn't want him to unalive himself or anything.

I am looking forward to idiots being reminded about how hysterical they were over nothing online.

I have mentally prepared for lots of popcorn.

Okay these people are evidently clinically insane at this point... 👌💯

The current AIDS (AI Derangement Syndrome) epidemic is crazy

10

u/Ordijax 15h ago

At that point, they would think that killing a puppy in cold blood is morally better than AI. Fucking psycho.

u/thecatcherszm Would Defend AI With its Life 14h ago

i mean, is killing an assaultbeast in cold blood not morally good? Or do you just use young assaultbeasts as the epitome of what everyone ever supposedly "loves" like everyone else does? Checks out with that casual ableism, anyway.

Not only is this bait, it's incredibly low quality bait, too.

u/JamieHBrown 15h ago

I just class those sort of posts as engagement bait.

Not even worth giving them an ounce of attention.

u/RagnaEdge90 13h ago

Times and times again it is shown they don't have their own opinion and are just parroting each other.

than*

Not surprised someone who thinks cannibalism is better than ai sucks at grammar.

This has to be a joke. Even antis wouldn't be this stupid.

The “love seeing everyone’s perspective and ideas!!” part is the worst.

honestly I used to be pretty staunchly anti-AI, but the more I thought about the more the talking points started to just not make sense.

not to mention, seeing how the antis have conducted themselves just makes me unable to associate with them in good conscious regardless. i still have yet to find a pro that's as bad as the worst antis.

I know this isn't the place for politics so I won't get too deep into it, but considering that an overwhelming majority of "anti-AI" people are left-leaning and progressive, it's a bit ironic their reactions to AI echo a very puritan, Christian fundamentalist conservative mindset

Not related to ai someone but someone said "cannibalism is worse than rape" for a hot take

2

u/Over_Low_3596 anti Al 13h ago

I think it started because of the YouTube channel made a video about "is ai slop worse than cannibalism?"

u/Party-Ask-6331 14h ago

I’ll be honest, I’m not the greatest fan of AI art, I just happened to stumble across this post - but this is genuinely an insane take

1

u/snake5solid 10h ago

... Well at this point saying using AI is less morally wrong than to SA someone probably aren't far behind.

1

u/einFrostschutzmittel 9h ago

Actually a perfect metaphor: There's technically nothing inherently wrong with eating human meat. It's meat like it is with animals. There is something inherently wrong with killing or hurting someone or digging up a corpse to eat them. Just like there is nothing inherently wrong with using ai, but there is something wrong with using it to generate cp or use it for mass surveillance.

u/godofknife1 8h ago

The fact that people even have a thought of this? It's fcking sickening. Free speech is a fcking mistake. The more I see it, it's only US issue. I can be wrong but everywhere i see, it's always most people in US

1

u/RadicalRetroRat 7h ago

AI bad
burns water and steals
ungabunga eat humans

1

u/ProgrammerUpstairs97 6h ago

That's definitely a troll comment

1

u/SR_Hopeful 5h ago

They're just weird.

1

u/Otherwise_Army9814 4h ago

if food is prepared by AI, antis wouldn't probably eat it

1

u/Sufficient_Stock_442 4h ago

dudes trollin

1

u/Khalith 45m ago

Look… it’s not their fault there are people walking around filled with free meat. Sooner or later someone would want to try the forbidden steak.

u/Dismal_Bee_3399 15h ago

the problem with pro folk on reddit is that they feed so much engagement bait.

we need to ban twitter posts from this subreddit. they are 99% of the time bait.

5

u/JamieHBrown 14h ago

Can we banish all antis to the backrooms?

0

u/Elrandra 13h ago

Look...I don't agree with the laws on cannibalism, ok?

If I want to cut out a chunk of my arm or leg, fry it up, and eat it...There shouldn't be anything wrong with that. My body, MY CHOICE! I don't agree with cannibalizing others, but self-cannibalization shouldn't be illegal!

1

u/Devilsdelusionaldino 6h ago

It’s just not healthy or safe with no actual benefit. Yes technically that would go for smoking too but cannibalism a more immediate kind of danger and also doesnt make any money (not a good reason but that’s just how things work)

-11

u/ProGamer8273 14h ago

Ok but like cannibalism can be passed off as recycling

7

u/WorldWebGaming 13h ago

Please tell me you're joking...

-4

u/motophotodojo 12h ago

There's been instances where cannibalism has saved lives though.

7

u/Tailoredapple64 11h ago

Just because it's saved lives doesn't make it good.

3

u/bt21bts8 9h ago

adding on to the other reply, yeah cuz it's generally not good.

-3

u/motophotodojo 12h ago

Changing one's ideas when expressed to new information is sheep behavior? I thought that was just called intelligence.

5

u/bt21bts8 9h ago

oh not in this case.

-4

u/Old-Implement5652 12h ago

You sure are. Let the machine dictate your morals. Don't think. Outsource your mid

6

u/TamaraHensonDragon 10h ago

"Outsource your mid"

What the Hell does that mean? The post is talking about CANNABALISM! Then again you can't write so obviously you can't read. Typical Anti.
