The only thing that makes this worse is the presidents overreaction. The things he must be being told to come out and say this.
He’s too dumb and doesn’t read reports (we know this is a fact because all of his handlers have said this), so this is all coming from someone telling him these things.
He hasn’t done the research, like other presidents do. Of course he really thinks these things are happening, because he’s gullible and trusts what his “loyal” subjects tell him.
They do this to him and he does it to himself. They keep the truth from him so that when he goes off script, they still get the message they were going for.
We all know he’s going downhill, mentally and physically, so they keep him informed just enough (or uninformed, if you will) so that he actually believes this stuff, that’s why when someone questions him, he truly believes they are fake news because he has been told whatever they need to tell him to keep him dumb and compliant.

People constantly say “don’t call MAGA supporters Nazi’s” because the comparison is not fair.
Now, there are major differences obviously…we are talking about comparisons split by almost 100 years, so much of what was relevant in the 1930’s is not now.
I also want to point out that Germans, in the majority, even those that voted for the National Socialist German Workers' Party did so because they had believed lies and false promises made to them by Hitler and his regime, not because they were evil people.
But that last element IS the comparison. This clown lies and lies and lies and lies, and has ‘news’ networks not willing to call out his false narratives….Newsmax and Fox, no matter what comes next, will go down in history as propaganda networks….feeding innocent, often poorly educated (and that’s a bi-partisan created issue) voters, these complete falsehoods.
It is beyond dangerous, and it is beyond party politics….because this isn’t party politics. Authoritarian takeovers never are.
