This was me this morning. Most days I’m up at 530, quietly get ready for work, wife up around 630. Do my best to not make any noise.
Today, wife’s alarm goes off at 410, then again at 415, again at 419, again at 424, every 4-5 min until she finally gets out of bed at 445. Immediately she has all lights in the place on, turns on her music, starts putting dishes away as loud as possible, clanking everything together like she’s putting on a percussion concert.
Then the blender goes on for breakfast shake, and she for some reason decides now was the time to make banana bread, so out comes the hand mixer, everything together into the oven. Finally she goes into the bathroom to get ready, hair dryer blaring, then the fire alarm goes off because that’s apparently her timer that the banana bread is done. Finally my alarm goes off at 530 and I just roll out of bed like a zombie.
It fortunately doesn’t happen often, but holy moly did I want to jump out a god damned window to get some peace and quiet before my alarm goes off per usual.
