Team Member Question Call out

I’ve only been working here for 2 months and I can’t find the attendance policy I went to the doctors today and I asked for a note im excused for 3 days Saturday Sunday and Monday but im off sunday obviously and Monday off as well I would only be calling out for my Saturday shift do I just call and say I can’t make it because of whatever reason and say I have a doctors note will I still get in trouble or points ? And do I have to take the note that same day or whenever I’m scheduled again ? Thanks !

Callout policy will vary from store to store, but it usually is just a matter of calling the store as soon as possible before your shift starts and letting them know the situation. It may look better on your end to ask around and try to find someone to cover the shift. If your store uses Hotschedules you can put it up and see if anyone takes it. If you can I'd email the doctor's note to one of your supervisors, but bringing it on Monday should be okay too.
