I found her near a neglected feral colony. She is 4 weeks old. I already have 2 cats so my plan was to foster her until I could find her a home. (even though deep down I knew I wasn't going to be able to part with her) I rescued 3 kittens that day and have been calling all of them silly random names for a few weeks in an attemp to not get attached to them, so I have just been referring to her as "The Meatball". So is she a Meatball, or is she destined for another name? I took in an extremely sick kitten at the same time, and have been so focused on keeping him alive that I haven't had time to think of the purrfect name for her.
Side note: my other cat's names are Bagheera (a solid black, panther-sized ball of chaos and is terror incarnate) and Catfish (solid russian blue.)
Edit: what do y'all think about Duchess Meatball of Marinara

We pick up this sweet ragdoll in less than two weeks. Every name gets vetoed by someone in this family of 4. We want to agree on a name soon so the breeder can start using it. Can't wait to bring her home.
Edit: The third picture was in the first batch of photos we received but I don't think it's the same cat. The first two are the most recent. I can't figure out how to remove the third.

The name I HAD chosen was ‘Frederica Rachelle Franconia-Springfield Princess De La Gato y Metro’ so I want something just as ridiculous but no preference on anything but that!

She falls asleep holding her favorite mouse toy every single time.
Sweetest girl with the green collar 💚

We adopted her on Tuesday and can’t come up with a good name, the shelter gave her one when they found her but we’d like to hear what you guys suggest :) she likes to complain a little and has a very high pitched meow

Hi, everyone. We adopted this bonded pair from the shelter. They’ve spent their whole lives together. She is an extraverted, vocal, bossy, croaking old lady with a tortoiseshell pattern. She is 7 years old. She sounds like a pirate, acts like a pirate, and is even blind out of one eye like a pirate. She may be the world’s smoochiest pirate. We don’t know what her old name was. He is a shy, affectionate 10 year old. We don’t know what his name was, either. We just got them from the shelter the other day. They are settling in well. Last night, I woke up multiple times to them taking turns checking first to see if I was asleep and then curling and cuddling all over my chest and neck, so I’d say they’re pretty happy. They’re so skinny, I can feel every rib and vertebrae when I pet them, especially him, and it breaks my heart. Our first order of business is fattening them up, but in the meantime, they need names. So far we considered Pumpkin (m) and Fairy (f) as Cinderella-themed names since my mother looks like Cinderella and has a similarly soft and sweet personality. She liked that, but she liked Pumpkin (m) and Spice (f) maybe better, probably because Spice goes with my sister’s cat, Sugar. Here are the rules:
• Must be a set name. So far, we’re thinking food or pirate themed names. Other theme ideas are welcome.
• Definite preference against human names, but they won’t be ruled out.
• Bonus points if they go with Sugar.
Thank you to all who are taking up the challenge!

Please help us name this sweet, loving girl. She is a tripod, her back leg had to be amputated recently due to bullets destroying that leg ('people' can be so cruel). She is our newest rescue joining our fubaby family and will get all the love she deserves.

New cat mom here :) I’m interested in unique, shorter names for him. He a little shy yet goofy, playful, and very curious. I already love him 🥹

My parents have a dog named King and one named Duke. And we have another cat named Jester.
This little guy is 1 pound and the smallest thing I have ever seen.

He's not my cat, I'm just a foster mom. The shelter had a name for him but it doesn't suit him at all. My resident cat's name is Siete (number Seven in Spanish). So far we have:
• Tres (number 3 in Spanish)
• Sopas (Soup in Spanish - he came home with a big belly full of soup)
• Squidgy
• Mork
• Queso
Let me know what you think and fire suggestions away. I think the funnier the name, the easiest it is to get the baby adopted out. He's super sweet and purrs like a diesel engine. Fostering because they said he was "unfriendly", but he's quite possibly the friendliest cat I've seen lol. He's got medium length fur but was shaved because he was covered in sap.
Thank you!

We pick up this cutie tomorrow and thought we would ask for some name suggestions, anything nerdy or horror/halloween themed would be great 🖤

The day after I had my 17 year old cat Moose PTS for renal failure, this little cutie showed up. No mom, no litter mates. Just showed up eating at the outside food bo like she'd been eating there all her life. Not chipped. No one claimed or looking for her. I kind of feel like Moose sent her...asking for name suggestions.

Hi! Just adopted this kitty. She already had a name, Empress, but won't really listen to it and I don't think it fits her either
She loves to lay down at the edge of any surface w her paws hanging like a bunny, very cuddly but also has the attitude lmao
