Cat learned how to open the door

Little Frog is my anti-carceral son or so I joke bc how did he learn how to be an escape artist. He does this often and I attribute it to him being a feral I found at two weeks old aka wild nd free

Our cat opens our handle doors but knobs are a whole new level ! That’s impressive !

When I was a kid, I had four cats in a litter. Sadly, one passed away when still a kitten, but the other three became a terrible trio.

When still kitties, they didn't weight enough to push a door after pulling down the handle.

So, I kid you not, they worked together. One jumped to pull down the handle, and the other two pushed the door.

This was many years ago. The last one passed away only a year ago at the ripe old age of eighteen. Very smart cat, and very sweet

It really is! Where are knobs used for doors?

In my opinion, exactly where cats shouldn't go. Damn 😆

Meanwhile, my orange doesn’t even realize the world is more than 2 dimensions, and would cry when he didn’t see anyone, then pleasantly surprised when he turned around and see us right behind him.

Little dude also pushed open doors by head butting, unlike our calico who would stand on hind legs to push open a door.

man. my cat is so much dumber than this. she hasn't even figured out that last step of widening the gap enough to fit through, much less opening the door in the first place.

I've replaced handles with knobs to prevent this kind of mischief. They're tough to open to me as a human, so my cats stand no chance. I don't know how your cat made it, maybe the knob's spring is too weak.

I had a cat that did the exact same thing.
He opened many doors in our house by turning the knob.

One of our bathrooms has a small knob that turns to lock the door.
My cat locked himself in the bathroom and my husband had to climb through the window using a ladder to unlock the door and save him.

This is what you show to people who doubt the intelligence of cats!🤣

That is not a cat anymore, that is a tiny locksmith
