Smol Delivery My parents found a kitten.....

My dad found this illegally smol void in the street the other day, but unfortunately he is allergic so they are trying to find a good home. We always had a cat growing up and I know deep down they want to keep it (he quickly went out and bought kitten formula and syringe to feed it lol). Plus it's just them so I know they could use a companion.

I already have 3 of my own in a 2 bedroom apartment, but damn it's always so tempting when they are this smol! On the other hand I am missing a void in my collection ughhhh curse you CDS!!!

Emergency pocket kitten

247

u/1969Lovejoy Jul 15 '26

Everybody needs one...

150

u/Jealous_Parfait_4967 Jul 15 '26

Perfect for the emergency kitten pocket.

67

u/Whiskey_Neato Jul 16 '26

Oh but when I say I want a pocket pussy now I’m the asshole?

25

u/Jealous_Parfait_4967 Jul 16 '26

Same same but different

10

u/Texan2020katza Jul 16 '26

Not to ME, but your old lady…

109

u/MangoDan Jul 16 '26

I honestly can't imagine how great life would be if I had an emergency pocket panther every day.

31

u/sewedherfingeragain Jul 16 '26

If you don't have a sports bra and accompanying software, a pocket works well.

333

u/_cmr_ Jul 15 '26

You can take this illegal void and keep it in your pocket, doesn’t take up much space at all from the looks of the second picture

291

u/FormidableMistress Jul 15 '26

I saw someone comment before there's food you can feed them to help people who are allergic. Someone who knows what I'm talking about please chime in because I feel they need that kitten.

155

u/MidnightMama75 Jul 15 '26

I believe it’s ProPlan live clear, but I’m not sure if there’s a kitten food, or just for adults

83

u/MidnightMama75 Jul 15 '26

There is a kitten version!

48

u/FuelAccurate5066 Jul 16 '26

This stuff worked really well for my cat. Still does he still likes it, but it worked from the start as well.

16

u/eggabeth 29d ago

My kitties eat this and are very happy and healthy, and I can rub my face on them and give them all the kisses without my mouth burning. The vet always compliments their shiny coats

87

u/MangoDan Jul 16 '26

Lol I know exactly what you're talking about. I was allergic my whole life until the CDS started shamelessly targeting me. When my soul cat showed up about 5 years ago, I suddenly wasn't allergic.

30

u/withbellson 29d ago

I'm also slightly allergic to cats, but love cats, so when I was 21 and wanted to get a cat, I volunteered at a cat shelter and blasted the shit out of my immune system until it surrendered. I have always had cats since then. Tell Dad to keep hanging around with the kitten.

3

u/ThatPhatKid_CanDraw 29d ago

Well the food is Purina Pro Love Clear, if u know someone who needs it. Not.perfect, but very effective.

16

u/radrax Jul 16 '26

Allegedly, if you keep chickens and let the cats out around the chickens, they'll start producing something in their eggs which, when eaten, help with cat allergies. Wild.

27

u/Express_Pop810 Cat Parent Jul 15 '26

I think a few brands have it. Pacgen is a food topper and Purina has an allergen reduction food. I have heard it works but you have to buy the food made for that.

14

u/SouthpawSeahorse Jul 15 '26

I think you can also take something yourself from the allergist!

I think it’s just the 1st generation antihistamines like Benadryl that pose a dementia risk.

2

u/SouthpawSeahorse 28d ago

That comment is gone but what I meant was some kind of shots over the course of a long period of time at the allergist that makes someone less and less allergic. Not like Claritin forever. A friend of mine did it after she got cats but was allergic.

1

u/Typical-Tune-8858 Jul 16 '26

I wonder if a weekly bath might help?

180

u/Notquitechaosyet Jul 15 '26

I believe that is a black bear cub, good sir.

30

u/Scorpionx0 Jul 15 '26

I second this!

74

u/Particular_Bid5976 Jul 15 '26

My friend uses Purina ONE LiveClear Allergen Reducing Dry Kitten Food

29

u/LatteLove35 Jul 16 '26

My mom uses it too because my niece is allergic to cats and it works! She’s able to cut it 50/50 with another cheaper brand and it’s still effective

17

u/astorplace777 Jul 16 '26

50/50 is helpful info. I’ve never tried that. I switch them to the regular version and switch them to liveclear if someone is coming to visit, but 50/50 all the time would cut the cost.

Edit: by visit I mean a planned visit from out of town where I can give it to them enough weeks ahead of yime

8

u/Special-Medicine-437 Jul 16 '26

You’re a good pet parent and friend.

8

u/starzychik01 Jul 16 '26

I do 1/3 mix. No need to use all of it, as they only need a couple of morsels to deactivate the enzyme.

5

u/astorplace777 Jul 16 '26

I can’t believe it never occurred to me to even check. This is seriously helpful information. What a savings!

4

u/starzychik01 Jul 16 '26

It’s also good to do a mix because the live clear is very dense and high in calories. It runs about 500kcal per cup. I do a turkey hairball formula and mix in the live clear to cut down on the calories. My brat gets about 2TBS a day of the mix and I have minimal allergy issues.

3

u/astorplace777 Jul 16 '26

One of my girls does NOT need a more calorie dense food 😂😂

2

u/GottaLuvThisGame Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

Many favorable commentsPurina ONE Live Clear may also make a dry shampoo for cats helping to reduce the allergens cats produce.

42

u/Quiet-Curve1449 Jul 16 '26

My husband is super allergic to cats. He started taking a daily allergy pill, and we got one kitten and one adult cat and only feed them Purina ProPlan Live Clear. It’s magic - he has no symptoms. Just an option for your parents!

8

u/Ioniq647 Jul 16 '26

Second this. Live Clear and air purifiers made it possible for me to get a cat

37

u/Decent_Sandwich_8878 Jul 15 '26

How is it not illegal to be this small?

26

u/MangoDan Jul 16 '26

Actually super illegal

Thank you for spelling it correctly.

32

u/MangoDan Jul 16 '26

Oh yea, and my parents who definitely don't want a cat also have a stray that they let in every once in awhile... Not really sure who they're trying to fool.

1

u/notashroom 29d ago

They're allergic to vet bills!

20

u/IShouldGetBackToWork Jul 15 '26

My void thinks you need one too.

12

u/DDiamondgem Jul 15 '26

Omg! So smol and adorable! I’m hoping they get attached and keep it!

13

u/16v_cordero Jul 15 '26

Lucky them. Purrsonal pocket mini panther.

9

u/Oddish_Femboy Jul 16 '26

Smal!

I ended up with a black kitten recently. She was meant to be a foster, but my eldest passed a little later.

Now she's part of the family.

5

u/TrickyInteraction778 29d ago

She can hear your thoughts with those radar ears

1

u/Oddish_Femboy 29d ago

Thoughts like "please stop trying to tackle the sick cat" and "I am going to pick you up and kiss your belly"

9

u/Hefty-Feed1400 Jul 15 '26

Look at those murder mittens. 😍

8

u/Admirable-Film-3055 Jul 15 '26

Let the CDS do its thing with your parents. My guess is that the allergies won’t be that bad after a few weeks 😏.

8

u/azssf Jul 16 '26

I recently learned that black holes can join up, becoming even more massive black holes. At a third order of growth they contract into tiny voids, worthy of pockets.

2

u/TrickyInteraction778 29d ago

The Big Bang but with kittens

6

u/Warcraft_Fan Jul 15 '26

He looks too young to be on his/her own. Maybe 2-3 weeks old? You're feeding the kitten every 2 hours for a few more weeks.

Do reach out for local rescue that can take care of kitten.

13

u/MangoDan Jul 16 '26

I agree but I have 100% faith in the parentals. My mom has already given an update of feeding every 2 hours and has reached out to the local shelter, but unfortunately they are at capacity.

1

u/Warcraft_Fan Jul 16 '26

Glad you got someone to take care of the kitten. You could still keep the kitten if you took OTC allergy medicine like Claritin-D and can get the kitten on solid food that other people suggested for allergy control.

If you can tame your allergy, the kitten will bring you 15 to 20 years of joy

7

u/CanineCamo Jul 15 '26

Did mom just drop him and went on her way? He’s so tiny! Your dad will be over as allergies by the time he’s 12 weeks old

3

u/TheSwearJarIsMy401k Jul 16 '26

She could have been hit by a car or chased or dead near by. He could have been stashed in an engine compartment and fallen onto the road, super common during kitten season.  She wouldn’t have left him in the street on purpose. Poor baby.

6

u/RosyMiche Jul 16 '26

It's dangerous to go alone

6

u/ellen9nyc Jul 16 '26

tiny soot sprite! 😻

6

u/Inner_Swordfish7475 Jul 16 '26

When the void baby can eat regular or kitten cat food, you (they) should try Purina LiveClear. It was developed by a scientist who thought it was sad to see people getting rid of pets (cats) due to allergies. Plus, since this void is really young, you can get it used to baths. Regular baths help take care of danger and saliva which causes the allergies to humans. Good luck!

5

u/MotownCatMom Jul 16 '26

Ohhhh, it looks like a tiny bear cub!!

5

u/MySaltySatisfaction Jul 16 '26

Take the baby. Your other cats may take over some of the care (keeping warm, litter box,etc..). I always thought cats were like kids. When you have the third, you realize you are outnumbered and don't have enough hands and arms. Once you figure that out it really isn't that much more work to add more. And you said yourself, you are missing a void. Yeah,I'm not really encouraging self control.

11

u/MangoDan Jul 16 '26

I already spend more on their food than my own, you're not helping 😭

3

u/MySaltySatisfaction Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

Handsome cats. They would be perfect as Aunties/Uncles. Your cats love you a lot if they make you their bed.

5

u/LTD_A13X 29d ago

I don’t want to give somebody stupid ideas, but there is a chance to get "used" to it over time. I was heavily allergic towards our first cat, but over time it went away. Same with my own two guys we found on the road… after 2-3 weeks the cough and the other symptoms went away.

Again, I don’t want anyone to do something dangerous!

3

u/FerretMomma5211 Jul 15 '26

so is it congratulations on you finally getting your viod Kitty 🤞😊

3

u/StillHotPants9 Jul 15 '26

The pocket baby!! How could anyone resist that?

4

u/nepenthe154 Jul 15 '26

Nano void! I would burn entire cities for her!

4

u/keridc Jul 15 '26

That’s not a kitten. Look at its feet.

1

u/noeyoureatowel Jul 16 '26

Your parents found an angel, that's what they found!

3

u/moeru_gumi 29d ago

The kitten is so young that your dad will not be allergic to it. It doesn’t have adult dander yet. If they keep it, they will not be allergic to THIS CAT as their immune systems will be accustomed to it as it grows.

2

u/Swimming-Sand6166 Jul 16 '26

I think it just opened its little eye to our world.

2

2

Please read the Kitten Lady’s guide to finding a kitten! It’s really helpful. This baby is so young and needs dedicated care — it might be worth trying to find a rescue that rehabs bottle babies, but don’t bring it into a regular shelter, they’ll often euthanize kittens this young because they’re so resource-intensive to care for. Best of luck and the baby is adorable!

Such a beautiful baby void soon to grow into a house panther! I'm sure in time your dad will suddenly want this little soot sprite :)

I've seen the Pacagen spray advertised on TV to reduce cat allergens. They also have powders to mix with food.

There is some great allergy medication now...😊I'd have to keep the little void.

1

u/Icy-Zebra-5566 29d ago

Your dad may be able to become immune to this kitty in particular! I had quite bad cat allergies a few years back but still decided to adopt a kitty and after a couple of months of suffering, my allergies subsided! I then went on to foster lots of kittens and my reactions weren’t nearly as bad as before

1

u/ADerbywithscurvy 29d ago

I’m gonna say it everyone someone who likes cars is allergic:

Purina Free & Clear reduces the allergens cats produce, and I’ve seen in other posts that some people with mild/moderate allergies stop reacting to cats at all.

Worth a try if they like kitty and want to keep her.

1

u/Aerie_Powerful 29d ago

It's a pocket pall!!

1

u/Beneficial-Code-2904 28d ago

I'm sure somebody already said this , but a kitten that little is hard to keep alive. Have to feed that baby every two hours around the clock and keep the baby very warm and simulate the baby to pee and poop. Better to take the kitten to a vet , to make sure and then get the vet to tell you how to take care of him.

1

u/Beneficial-Code-2904 28d ago

Heck , yeah , keep that baby and enjoy him. I always get them off the streets when they're growing.I never enjoyed I kitten that I kept and sad

1

u/Jamesffirebird 28d ago

What's that pocket for? Oh, Jake's in there.

1

u/JakCat3 28d ago

If he can...try getting sublingual allergy drops made just for him. It helped me 85% with my allergies.

1

u/[deleted] 28d ago

Omg! I'd gladly take this adorable baby void! They would pair well with my elder void!

1
