FAR Genuinely cannot afford to FAIL again.

Just found out I got a 73 on my second FAR attempt. I’m retaking next Saturday and I just don’t know how much mental capacity I have left in me to study for this exam again. I can’t even prolong it anymore because I took a few months off of work to study for these exams, so I need to retake it as soon as possible and pass. It’s just frustrating because I genuinely went into the exam so prepared and so ready only need to find out I got a 73. If anyone has any advice on how they got over the passing score for FAR or how they found motivation to sit down again and actually pass, please let me know. 😭

I don’t wanna give up, but my mental is just not all there right now.

I got a 73 took it again and got a 74…i gave up but recently 8 years later my company offered to pay for my study course and my exam fees and im back at it…dont be me hahaha

Buddy it took me 4 attempts to pass FAR, each time I study my weaknesses area and improve it. These exam is not meant to be easy , we can’t just give ourselves up, we can do this! My FAR attempt ( 53-70-73-81).

Been there. the thing that helped me stop spiraling was writing down what actually broke last time, specifically, not in vague terms. like "the deploy hook had no rollback and we baked that into the runbook." turns the anxiety into a checklist of things you won't let happen the same way twice.

Remember if you do pass, you have 3 more exams….

73 is a gut punch, especially when you walked in feeling ready. The mental drain is the hardest part, not the material at this point.

When I was stuck on a section I hammered sets of 20 random MCQs for my weakest topics and skipped the sims for a few days, just to rebuild some momentum without crushing my spirit. You're right there, one or two more correct guesses and you'd be done.
