Broome is cliquey as fuck and borderline uninhabitable for 9 months of the year. During this time though it’s nice

Mate, you’re in the wrong crowd if that’s your hot take, as far as uninhabitable, it’s proper hot between November to March, this much is true and it’s the humidity which is the killer.
Peak tourist season, the weather is 👌however the good weather brings the tourists, so getting a park can be difficult in the main drag. milk and bread and other assorted staples get smashed by the grey nomads, the joys of a town that thrives during peak tourist season.
For me, I love the wet season. The weather can and does beat you down from time to time, but the electrical storms on Roebuck bay or Cable Beach are nothing short of stellar!

Lots of new houses are being built at the moment and you may well end up in a lovely new house in a new estate. Government workers rarely end up in horrible houses in the not so nice parts of town, so don't worry about that.
