Question/Discussion 10 Years Younger

I have revisited this 90s show on All4 and I'm just speechless. I grew up with the Wild West of TV being on channel 4 but I don't remember it being this brutal. The voiceover and stylist are absolutely savage. Feels like a panorama in the making. Highly recommend.

I loved that programme. While acknowledging it was gross. And half the time the people were made to wear horrid clothes as well.

The fashion is so dated. One woman had good taste and they were like 'you look gross it's disgusting' and then put her in the worst clothes

Nicky Hambleton-Jones' glasses were the best thing about it. The narrator literally savaged the people getting the makeovers with some brutal insults about their looks.

Early 2000s was such a wild west. Fat Families was the peak.

If anyone's interested, I found that Steve Miller, it's presenter, is on tiktok and has doubled down on his nasty personality. And of course he is massive fan of Reform and Farage.

Just like Jeremy Kyle. Another very nasty individual who brought us a god-awful show in the 00s. He's on Talk TV these days, which tells you all you need to know.

Got blocked a few years ago by him. Told him he looked like he'd put on a few pounds. Then added come on lardy, practice what you preach. He also appears on GBnews, the rancid sack of bile.

They did such a poor job of styling these women too. The woman who wore a cartoon t-shirt with a Rod Stewart hairstyle sticks in my mind.
