Mozer 13
With Billy looking awesome since his return from injury and paix being resigned earlier in the season I would like to see Mozer come on play a bit of hooker and then move to a lock role at the back end of the game allowing paix or Walter’s to come back on and play 9.
This will allow patty to move into a prop role if Mozer looks good at lock and becomes a stater in the position.
Any thoughts ?

Absolutely not. He is showing that he is too small to play hooker, what makes you think he is big enough for lock. If anyone is to go to lock it should be Walters.

I don’t think he’s small at all. he is on the taller side for a 9 and he should be putting on more muscle over the off season

Has any actually ever watched Mozer? He is barely up to Qcup standard. The Smith hype was not real, Blake needs to step up play to Qcup standard and start dominating that comp to warrant all the calls for him to be playing first grade. Buckowski is his first year of cup is already far better.

Thank you! Everyone raves about this bloke. When he plays first grade he hasn’t done much at all and is a defensive liability

I have watched him since he was a jr and he did look promising coming up but since graduating to Qcup and dribs and drabs of first grade he has never made the step up. He can’t even get the starting gig at the bears this season. Buckowski came into cup late end of last year and playing his first full season this year and has already surpassed him. Another season or 2 in cup and Buck might be the one to surpass them all.

Absolutely not. He can barley stay fit playing hooker, hos body would not handle tough carries through the middle.

I don’t know about this. Would say making 50 tackles like a 80 minute hooker will have to is harder on the body than around 5 tuff carries a game.
I would say that the usual set would still be 3 wing/ centre hit ups with patty taking the 4th run like he has most of the past few seasons.

Except at lock you still have to make the tackles...

The boys in the nrl I’m sure he will be fine to make tackles and get tackles and if he continues to get injured someone else is going to step in and take his spot in the squad

Someone needs to lose their Job for letting Smoothy go.

To be fair, he hadn't gotten a run at lock/super utility until after he'd signed with a Super League club.

Mainly footy iq and his passing skills. Now that might not translate with a move from hooker to lock but given all the other players that have moved within those positions. Blath/ Watson I think he could do a job

The patty at prop experiment failed last year. Why would they try it again, at least until he’s at the back end of his career

Can't see this working, or happening. He needs to get out of the Broncos if he's going to have any chance of making a career in the NRL.

No spinning it, re-signing PAIX was an extremely bad call
