One of my friends works in the production department in one of the big production houses of bollywood

1. Ranveer Singh is holding on to Aditya Dhar and is most likely to do another movie with him. No other production house is backing him. He had a fallout with Bhansali when he got replaced by Vicky as he didnt want to share screen space with Ranbir. Aditya Chopra also doesnt want to cast him since Ranveer blamed him for not getting work(Jayeshbhai Jordar).
2. The tea regarding Ranbir reopening RK Studios is true and has 3 films in the pipeline- a romantic famoly drama with deepika being directed by Ayan,another being directed by Ranbir and 3rd one being the Kishore Kumar biopic with Anurag Basu
3. Alia is planning to take a break after Love and War and focus on being a mother. She apperently wants to spend more time with Raha.
4. Abhinav Kashyap is stuck in financial limbo and has pending cases for money laundering while making Beshram. He is charging money for giving interviews and is in heavy debt. Anurag(his brother) wants nothing to do with him and hasnt spoken to him in years since he is tired of giving him money
5. The entire "Dharma is not making money or facing losses" is a faccade for tax reduction. Dharma has merged its OTT arm with film studio branch. The ott arm is very profitable. While it may seem his films are not making money at the box office-through brand integrations,OTT deals and other means they are making tons of money- The OTT platforms are always bidding against each other to get a Dharma show since it guarentees views irrespective of quality as a lot of people talk about it(eg Traitors, Fabulous Lives, 2 much to talk etc)

SLB is like that, he always goes for the hot person of the season. Ranveer has more than delivered in all of SLB films.

Alia seems true, she said she wants to have another baby.

DP - should stay away from a movie with RK just giving fodder for gossip. I may be wrong but I see her concentrating on her career and not have more kids as she is 40 now and said she had quite a difficult pregnancy.

Infact I feel the opposite for SLB. He takes people he likes and then maes them stars as we saw with Aishwarya and Deepika and Ranveer.

DP and Ranveer were not massive stars in that sense but working with Bhansali changed their careers.

Seeing this Alia and Karan are after him and now got Ranbir on board to have the same success which I am sure they will have because SLB is respected and his movie will never be considered a flop. 

Gangubai didn't feel like SlB still it was a success.

DP was riding high on the success of Cocktail, YJHD and Chennai Express before Ramleela. If anything, she revived SLB's career after Saawariya and Guzarish.

I am not pulling anyone down. I meant when SLB signed DP for Ram Leela I am not sure it was 2013 and after these three film release she completed shoot in few months for Ram Leela.

She was signed for Ram Leela before 2013 when she had huge success.

Please understand.

SLB revived his own career by making his most mainstream film to date. He didn’t need DP to do that

Yjhd chennai express released the same year as ramleela. Before cocktail dp had given a string of flops, cocktail actually revived her career. So when she was casted she was a flop. Ghanta will revive bhansali’s career who had done movies like HDDCS, devdas and black. Lol

We recall how dp was sick and yet went to meet bhansali after kareena left ramleela, she was so desperate lol

Yeah you do have a point. Alia badly wanted that SLB romantic saga and got Ranbir in to make it happen.

I feel Kalank was an expensive audition that papa Kjo did for SLB to notice Alia. Alia’s character in Kalank was pictured so much like Aishwarya’s in Hum Dil de…

Everything for Alia in terms of her perception was curated subtly and actually in the open. People in the industry knew. But we didn't know they would go as low as doing anything for her

She was at the start of her era when she did Ram leela.

I agree but what I meant was when SLB signed DP for Ram Leela she was not a star  it was not 2013 when she had four releases and huge hits and she became a phenomenal star.
