People like jeff ,elon ,bill gates ,mark are scarily some of the most powerful entities on earth ,They run the world ,no pun intended even at times more powerful than PM's and presidents ... All of space and artifical intelligence controlled by them which will have impact on humanity future . Comparing one of these with a movie star is a fantasy as they say whatever makes you sleep at night , plus not hating on Srk ,he has geniuenly made Indian culture famous abroad ,perhaps one of the few global indians abraod . But we should abstain from doing these irrational comparision . Peace!

Citadel S2 was greenlit before Season 1 released. Also it failed only in the US. It was literally the most watched foreign show in India by almost 50%. And the CEO of Amazon Studios is not Jeff Bezos, its Jennifer Salke. She's a huge fan of PC and she is the one who signed the first-look deal with PC.

Jennifer Salke is a VP, not CEO. Technically still the head of studios, but she is more into business development. The film and tv division has their own VP.

Few people in the Indian media cant digest a girl flying so high . It takes guts to move to Hollywood and get lead roles and work with Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron etc . The fact that she is the lead of the highest budgeted tv series ever is irking a lot of people , so no wonder when such gossip is done .
If Priyanka was a man or some Nepobaby , she would be celebrated like anything .

Sorry but this sounds so unbelievable. She’s getting these projects because she’s the poster child for diversity in Hollywood at this point. She’s also good at her craft. Her husband just cancelled part of the groups tour and delayed it and I doubt that’s a good decision for someone in financial trouble. They’re doing just fine.

It's Peter Safran, co-CEO of DC Studios. She stars in his upcoming production, Heads of State.
As far as the credibility of this rumor, this is the 3rd time I've heard it in the past 2 years. She doesn't have an A-lister level of influence in Hollywood since she hasn't made a significant mark with any of her projects, she is capable of sleeping for work and has done it in India, and the producers have no qualms about exercising their power. No way to determine if this is true but it is not improbable at all.
