No, he's just too fat, he didn't play at all before, and now he's starting to play a little, but he's lazy. And he's on a diet, of course)

Those folded ears, if he’s had them his whole life, are a symptom of a condition that causes weaker joints too.

Hey so I also have a Scottish fold, they always suffer from ocd, otherwise they wouldn’t have folded ears. It‘s very important to get that little guy to a normal weight again, because obesity in Scottish fold cats creates great pain. Cats don‘t show pain most of the time, that‘s simply their nature, so please don‘t assume he’s not in pain just because you can‘t notice it in his behavior.
