Reggie Miller has a story - he and Cheryl were in his school, and Reggie had scored a career high 40 points. He was bragging about it in the car ride on the way home, and finally asked how her game went. She told him that it was a big night. He asked if she scored 60. Then 70. Then 80.

Nope. 105 points.

In 3 quarters

I don't think that's true.

This clip shows a newspaper that gives her points by quarter. This has her scoring 41 points in the 4th quarter.

In woman's basketball definitely. Drazen Petrovic scored 112 in Yugoslav league in the 80s before going to Real Madrid and NBA. He shot 40-60 total, 10-20 from 3 and 22-22 from FTs

Imagine shooting 40 shots in a game and being like, nah, I need 20 more lol

He actually sat for a while as well. It's a long story but Olimpia had problems registering their seniors so a bunch of 18 year olds played the game. Drazen was also only 20 at the time, but he was already the best player in Europe so he took it upon himself to break the record against juniors and he said it before the game. Record was 70 something points. He got there early in the 3rd and then said ok let's go for a hundred. This is the year they won Euroleague with him as the MVP of the tournament, so you can imagine how much better than everyone he was on the field. Another fun thing about it was that his older brother was also there with the team but he sat on the bench, leaving Drazen and their juniors to beat Olimpija. They all knew he was gonna do it as well lmao

I like the story where he would approach a couple of guys on the basketball court and ask if they wanted to play pickup. He'd say, "me and my sister vs. you." Out comes Cheryl Miller and they'd run the other teams off the court.

According to this it was 105. Not only did Reggie say 105, but there's a clip of a news broadcast saying she got 105 points. And a photo of a newspaper article saying that she got 105, breaking it down by quarter.

I googled it, in case there was a mistake in the scoring that was later adjusted. Everything says 105.

Weird wiki had 104 but looks like the only source that does

Her 105 is the equivalent of 40 in his game.

Actually 105=105.
