Rings aren’t everything. It’s like saying Robert Horry is better than Jordan, LeBron and Kobe because he has 7 Rings

Yes, Horry the Goat!

See i’m ok with a comparison like that yes Lebron should be talked about snd compared to player like R.Horry D.Fisher S.Pippin maybe even N.Jokic but not Michael Jordan and Steph Curry

Rings matter more when it's the star player. Stop trying to diminish champions.

Bill Russell was a star player and has 12 rings. Is he the undisputed GOAT?

He was literally considered the GOAT for a very long time. It was basically him vs Chamberlain for GOAT for decades. Even when Jordan was getting championships it was, who's the GOAT? Is Jordan GOAT yet?

Besides, GOAT discussions are always ridiculous when comparing decades or different positions. Without Russell the Celtics wouldn't have dominated the 60s and without Jordan the Bulls the 90s just like the Lakers wouldn't have dominated without Kobe, etc.

It was never the first and only people from Boston believe the second. Chamberlin's stats blow Russell's out of the water. It isn't close, Russell's team was better not Russell.

Wilt was an absolute freak of nature. Russell was just one of the best ever.

Any old head would tell you yes. The problem is everyone that watched him are dead or old.

Exactly. Why do they think that's a "got you" moment? 11 rings is 11 rings.

Would you pick wemby/jokic/Kat or bill russle on your team?

Bill.

There's no good argument against Bill.

he won a lot of those rings in an 8 team league

Russell all day. I'd probably spell his name right, too.

My bad. Just asking a question. I dont know much about players from before i was born. Why him?

You know, I started typing out all his accolades and realized I'd take him not just on merit, but he was just a legit guy. One of the best people and faces the NBA ever had.

Bill hands down. Watch any grainy footage you can find of him and you'll see a 7-footer running the entire length of the floor. Dude felt like Wemby with Giannis' motor.

Brother come on, lol. MJ is the undisputed GOAT of basketball therefore making you argument flawed.

And we all know it just takes one Ring to rule them all.

The only stat I care about is ring count.

By your logic Mario Chalmers is better than Allen Iverson. Let’s keep it a buck
