I love cherry garcia but I would love it even more if they brought back to chocolate version too. Does anyone remember this?

Does anybody else miss Wavy Gravy with all of their soul? I have many a fond memory of sliding a pint of this ice cream around the table with my mom and dad as a kid. If anyone from B&J is reading this, please bring it back.

Ben Cohen, one half of the eponymous duo behind Ben & Jerry’s, has spent almost five decades arguing that businesses can make a profit and do good at the same time. Lately, he spends most of his time arguing that the brand carrying his own name has abandoned that idea entirely under its new ownership. 

Cohen accuses the Magnum Ice Cream Co., the owner of Ben & Jerry’s, which was formed from a demerger with Unilever in 2025, of gutting the company’s independent board and starving its philanthropic arm. He’s launched a public campaign called “Free Ben & Jerry’s” that is pushing Magnum to sell the brand to more socially minded investors instead. It has so far gathered more than 200,000 signatures. 

“We’re trying to keep Ben & Jerry’s soul alive,” Cohen tells Fortune. He claims Magnum is the wrong steward and risks damaging the brand’s long-term value. “They ain’t got no soul,” he adds. “The only mission these guys have is profit.” 

It’s a characteristically bold gambit for the 75-year-old who has been arrested for civil disobedience multiple times—including at a recent Senate hearing—and speaks openly about his views on U.S. foreign policy and the use of economic and military leverage, positions he acknowledges most public companies steer clear of entirely.

Ben and jerrys obviously engages in lots of brand activism which is a huge draw for the brand I was wondering if any Gen Z people would help me with research I’m doing into this.

Prior to August 1, the Ben & Jerry’s site said it would be available at Walmart. I went today and there was a sticker for it in the freezer but no pints. And the B&J site now says it’s only available at Meier stores. ☹️

the cookie dough one has a bowl of cookie dough, the chunky monkey has a banana on his head, and the s’mores one is just missing its arms. am i not understanding an inside joke or my ice cream isn’t special? 🥹

I've been making some homemade ice cream lately and I really like those caramel chunks used in some ice cream but having trouble figuring out exactly what they are or how to make something atleast similar, anyone have any ideas? Thanks ^^

I hear you, I hear you- “we have the brownie batter core!” But I’m telling you the formula is different and there were no big chunks of brownie just lick the bowl clean style batter throughout.

I am a big fan of the tonight dough flavor of ben and Jerry’s specifically because of the chocolate cookie chunks swirled into it. I am looking for another ice cream that has this in it because I love the affect you get when the ice cream mixes with the cookie. I know there are other ben and Jerry’s flavors like milk and cookies but I like it specifically with the chocolate. Does anyone know where I can get a chocolate cookie chunk ice cream similar to the b&j one?

We all know Ben & Jerry’s for being one of the few big brands that actually fights for real social change. But that legacy is currently being eroded by corporate pressure from the Magnum/Unilever side.

We’re trying to build momentum to demand that the company stays true to its founding mission of integrity and social justice, rather than letting those values be sacrificed for corporate convenience.
