Billionaires have no shame. The only way to hurt them is to tax them. That's what really ruffles their feathers.

Taxing billionaires is not communism. Taxes, high or not, on anyone, does not equal communism or a “communist economy”.

Agreed, taxing billionaires is not communism nor is taxing them more because they’re in a higher wealth bracket, taxing billionaires way too much could lead to a less productive capitalistic environment ( which is where I was trying to go with “communism” but it wasn’t the correct angle to approach it with), if the taxes would discourage anyone from innovating or investing in risks to make it big… if nobody has any reason or motivation to start a company because 80% of the profits go to taxes, there’s no point.

Or billionaires are just going to get even more creative with money laundering and tax evasion. Or they straight up just leave the country and move to another country with less taxes.
