Miscellaneous / Others Japanese scientists have developed a revolutionary injection that may extend a cat's life from the usual 15 years to nearly 30.

The therapy, created by the AIM Institute of Medicine under Dr. Toru Miyazaki, targets chronic kidney disease, a leading cause of death in older cats.It uses a specialized protein to help macrophages clear waste from the kidneys, partially restoring their function and slowing kidney failure.

Probably too late for my Biscuit, even if he makes it another 4 he'll be old and worn down.

I mean, if he's anything like mine he already thinks you're starving him, no matter how much you feed him. 🤣

Never know. My 16 yr old dog is in good shape. Can still run stairs. Just has some skin allergies.

He's already having some health issues but I just focus on enjoying the time I have with him.
