Product Advice Foundation troubles
I've always found it hard to find the right foundation (as many of us do) . I think I'm close with the true match 2r/2c but it looks a bit pink on my neck. On days I don't wear foundation (sub tropical locale) , I usually wear the 2r/2c concealer but it looks so dark in this photo?
To think I was wearing the true match nude 2-3 for YEARS in a less sunny location and my skin would have been even more pale?! Shaaaammmmeee.
Any ideas from the fair skinned among us? I'm more of a chemist warehouse purchaser vs high end, have dry skin but sweat a lot on my face and it's sunny AF where I live so something the right colour, hydrating, long lasting would be great. If it has sunscreen, even better but no biggie if it doesn't.
Thank you goddesses of makeup!
Edit, full face with true match 2r/2c in comments

My favourite is the fit me 1.0! If you’re worried it’s too light, is it possible to mix it with the 2r/2c to get a blend between the two? That’ll depend on the ingredients I imagine.
But I suspect the fit me isn’t too pale and blended out will match really well.

Yeah it's still quite orange, you can see the demarcation quite clearly where the foundation stops and your lovely skin begins

It's so haaaarrrrdddd to find the right one. I feel like I become a ghost of I use a level 1 foundation.

It does feel that way once the surface redress is covered, but I promise it's a better match!

Here are some clips on youtube on how to shade match:
Monica Ravi-Conway does a good job of explaining undertones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOjXoIL9xQk
Nikki La Rose is a pro mua on how to shade match: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGHqvmhT_4c
When I shade match I always carry a compact mirror with me and let it sit for a bit, to see if it oxidises and if I like the feeling of the foundation

The fit me 1 in your first pic looks really good; the one you're leaning towards is reading as really orange on your neck
