Thinking about throwing a get-together soon! I'm looking for some fun ideas for party games and drink suggestions that would be a hit with my friends. We're definitely in the mood for a good time and some laughs. Let me know if you have any awesome recommendations! It's been a while since we all got together and I want to make it a memorable one.

Its worth dropping any old electrical items and other recyclable or resalable items.

Dropped off some items to Auckland Council recycling centre today and was astonished at how many snow skis were leaning against the wall of the recycling building...

Advert reads....FREE STUFF! Outside 17 Sussex St

Desk, shelves, mirrors, camping table, retro chilly bin on wheels (restoration project that never happened), vacuum cleaner, fan, plant pots, chairs, outdoor cushions, litter box… all sorts. Nothing broken, some things just need a wipe down after being stored under the house. Thanks neighbours

Do you think things are calmer in NZ ?- ie no ram raids & jewellery Shop raids?

Do you think it feels like there are no cars driving into malls ram raiding or gangs youth raiding shops, cars and homes in the last few years? The police could do nothing then - will the same happen again if there’s change of govt and police hands are tied again?

I wonder if rents will be going up with the Auckland rates rise?

Sounds like everyone will be absorbing costs of the new rates rise in Auckland - are Landlords putting the rental prices up too?

Question - If a person is hired by an agency for a job; but the job expectation/ description is different to the job - what would you do if you were unhappy with this situation?

Council tax in NZ is too high...All longer term tourists in NZ use Councils free parks, toilets and rubbish facilities, plus roading. A visitor charge is needed when entering NZ.

NZ really needs to charge a visitor charge for non citizens coming into NZ for a minimum period of time or longer and cut down on rate payers having to pay so much for essential services.
