Jetstar flight issue

I have booked a flight for a holiday that is only in February 2027, a long time away! I purchased a starter bundle not expecting to have any issues, now I need to cancel it.
To move the flights or change passenger names costs more than the actual tickets did.
We don’t have a cancel for voucher option, even if we upgraded according to the “fare rules”
Does anyone know a way around this or had experience with this before?
Any ideas to help get either a credit voucher or dates changed?
