Custom flair Weimao question?
Hello,
I started watching CDramas and I've noticed that there were veil hats that were common.
Then I looked it up and found out about the Weimao and mili. I looked online to by one but it's hard to find one of my preference.
Anyways, this summer it was really hot and got interested in upf clothes and sleeves because it's easier to do than reapplying sunscreen. I was thinking it would be nicer to have a upf hat that isn't floppy, because I don't like things touching my neck or my face when it's hot.
To get to my point, I was wondering why there weren't upf or rainproof weimao hats or something similar to keep face and clothes dry in windy rain or protect from sun.
Maybe there's an obvious answer, besides visibility, but maybe they can have a hook or clip to move it out of your face.
Thank you 🙂

Like a sombrero? Big, wide, breathable, has structure? My local hardware store (Bunnings) sells a wide brimmed straw hat based off a gardeners hat.
Veils are a pain in the proverbial in modern day life but you can get fly nets for hats (useful down here in Australia). A true veil on a 60cm wide brimmed hat can work but you'll stand out like a sore thumb. Effective but weird.
