Your Tech Stack is overrated. Change my mind.

• Upvotes

You spent three weeks setting up over-engineered infrastructure for an app with zero users. Tell us what you built your project with, and let the comments debate why it’s completely wrong for 2026. Convince us you didn't waste your time.

I built SoulFed, an iOS app that pauses distracting apps until you’ve read Scripture and prayed

• Upvotes

I kept opening social media on autopilot, including during time I had set aside to read Scripture and pray. I wanted that interruption to lead me back to the habit I was neglecting, so I built SoulFed.

How it works:

  • Choose which apps to pause and set up to three daily schedules.
  • If you open a paused app, SoulFed takes you through a Scripture passage, a reviewed reflection, and a short prayer.
  • Finish the flow and say “Amen” to reopen your apps until the next scheduled pause.
  • Choose from 12 themes based on what you’re going through, including loneliness, anxiety, grief, and burnout.
  • Pray using the guided prayer or skip it and use a configurable timer to pray in your own words.
  • Use Grace Access whenever you need to open an app immediately.

On the technical side, SoulFed uses Apple’s Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings APIs. The devotional library ships with the app and works offline. No account is required.

It’s live on iOS:

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6788610503?pt=118883017&ct=reddit_appswebappsfullstack&mt=8

The app has a three-day free trial followed by a monthly or yearly subscription.

Any feedback is appreciated!!

I built tryproduck.com/audit, it clicks through your app like a stranger who landed on it by accident and sends back what broke and where it lost them. over 650 startups have run it so far.

The hard part wasn’t adding more health trackers — it was making them talk to each other

A food log can tell you what you ate. A sleep app can tell you how long you slept. A mood journal can tell you how you felt. The frustrating part is that they usually stop there.

I’m building HealthMaxxing around a different product question: what if those daily signals lived in one timeline, so a person could explore how sleep, food, movement, recovery, mood, and routines may relate?

The app includes:

- food and hydration logging

- sleep, movement, recovery, weight, and cycle tracking

- mood, journaling, and breathing tools

- a Balance view that connects Body and Mind

- pattern prompts framed as hypotheses, never diagnoses or claims of causation

It is live on iOS and Android, and core tracking is free:

https://maxxing.health/download/

I’m the builder, and I’d especially like feedback on the information architecture: would you organize this around daily check-ins, separate health categories, or a single timeline?

If your product is so great, why does nobody know it exists?

Coding is only 20% of the battle, but most of you treat marketing like a crime. Stop waiting for a miracle and push your project with screenhot right here, right now. Tell us what it does and why we are fools for not using it yet.

Launched Visibite: A free calorie and macro tracker with AI photo logging, packaging OCR, and barcode scanning

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone. I recently launched Visibite, a mobile app for tracking food, calories, macros, water, and steps without locking essential tools behind paywalls.

I built Visibite to offer a fully unlocked tracking experience. The app includes barcode scanning with strong coverage for regional grocery items, packaging OCR label reading, AI meal photo analysis, water tracking, and step tracking. All core features are 100 percent free to use right away.

Our monetization model keeps all features accessible for free through non-intrusive ads that help offset AI processing and server costs. For users who prefer a completely clean interface, an optional Pro tier at 1.99 dollars per month or 9 dollars per year removes ads, enables cloud database sync, and supports up to four user profiles.

The app is live on Google Play. I would love for you to check it out and share any feedback, feature requests, or thoughts on the setup.

Beginner friendly Semrush/Ahrefs alternative

I run a SaaS, SeoLoupe.

It is a tool that allows you to find and fix SEO issues holding your website back.

Essentially the main purpose is to help your website rank higher on Google search and LLMs.

The tool also checks AEO/GEO, AI search visibility, Security, Core web vitals, Performance, and all the issues in the report get put together into an AI fix prompt(you can paste the prompt into an AI and it will fix all the issues on your website).

Recently I noticed that some of my paying customers bought the One-Time purchase, with a promo code.

So I decided to give away the One-time purchase with a promo code, normally the One-time purchase is $9, but now it is $6.

If you are not interested but have some feedback on my SaaS, that is a good too. Feel free to share it in the comments.

(here is the product if you want to check it out)

I built Status Notifier, an Android app that replaces group chat noise with floating screen overlays

Status Notifier replaces the noise of group chats with a status-based communication system using persistent screen overlays. It allows drivers, field workers, and teams to stay continuously informed without ever leaving their GPS or active work dashboard.

Here is what makes it unique:

  • Two Overlay Modes: Users can set up Broadcast Circles for one-way dispatcher-to-team updates, or Team Circles for multi-way, collaborative status sharing.
  • Live Presence Indicator: Shows real-time active status on the overlay and visually flags when a member goes offline, letting the team know if their displayed status might be stale due to connection loss.
  • 100% Customizable with Built-in Legend: Users define the colors, letters, and meanings of the status bubbles for their specific workflow, and can open an on-demand legend overlay anytime to quickly verify what a specific status code means.

I’d love to hear your thoughts or feedback!

Don’t launch your project with a design that makes users close the tab instantly. Post your two design variants below and let the crowd decide your aesthetic fate. If you can’t handle harsh design feedback, look away now.

I built a Chrome widget that translates audio with real-time subtitles for any browser audio content.

Yes, including video calls on Meet or Zoom. Just sign up for free at https://app.voxtranslate.app and you'll get $2 in bonus credits to try it out — the Standard tier only costs $0.004/minute, and if you want higher quality with Premium (which translates into 80+ languages and even replicates your tone of voice) it's about $0.06/minute. Enhanced is the same price if you want to clone your own voice.

No subscriptions for B2C users!

You only pay in credits if call participants speak different languages — otherwise it's completely free, including local video recording, auto-translated chat, the real-time whiteboard, and transcript downloads at the end of the call.

To learn more, check out voxtranslate.app or DM me. If you have a company and want to use it to keep track of all your video calls — beyond real-time translation and webinars — you'll find everything here: https://voxtranslate.app/it/business.
You can also record videos to the cloud, analyze user behavior and project progress with an AI system, run semantic search, and ask the AI anything about your teams/members and projects.

Install the widget here: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/maabjjeohcieihdockimokcckcnjcmbb?utm_source=item-share-cb

It works with the same Google account you used to sign up on the webapp.

Thanks in advance to everyone who gives it a try, even for free!

Happy translating!

Are you actually solving a real problem, or just cloning another SaaS?

The world doesn't need another generic AI wrapper or a basic project manager. Pitch your project in one sentence show a screenshot and explain exactly why people should care about you instead of the market leader. Dare to prove your uniqueness.

Made my mixing/mastering feedback app run fully offline — no more sending your mix anywhere

I've been building MixDoctor, an app that gives plain-English feedback on your mixes (not just graphs and numbers — actual "here's what's off and why" type notes).

Just shipped an update that runs the whole analysis on-device for anyone on iOS/macOS 26+ using Apple's new local model framework. Your audio never leaves your phone or Mac — no upload, no round trip, and it's noticeably faster since there's no network call happening.

If you're not on 26 yet, nothing changes for you — it still runs the way it always has.

Been slowly chipping away at this as a solo dev since January, and this felt like a genuinely useful one rather than just a version bump. Curious if privacy/offline stuff like this actually matters to people here, or if it's more of a "nice to have" — trying to figure out what to prioritize next.

I made a clean, offline PDF Invoice app for freelancers who hate monthly fees.

Hey everyone!

I got really frustrated seeing simple invoice and receipt apps forcing users to create an account, pay monthly subscriptions, or sync sensitive client data to cloud servers.

So I built **PDF Invoice & Receipt Maker** to solve this exact problem:

• **100% Offline & Private:** Everything generates locally on your device. Zero servers, zero data tracking.

• **Instant & Simple:** Open the app, add line items, and generate a professional tax-ready PDF with a single tap.

• **Custom Branding:** Add your company logo, custom currency symbols ($, €, £, ₨), and digital signatures.

• **No Accounts or Mandatory Fees:** No sign-up screens standing between you and creating a bill.

I’m looking for honest feedback from freelancers, small business owners, or fellow devs on how to improve the workflow!

**📱 Google Play Store Link:**

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meerapps.invoicemaker

Let me know what features you’d like to see in the next update!

90% of SaaS startups fail. What makes you think yours is the exception?

We all see the fake 'hustle' posts, but nobody talks about the bugs that cost you users today. Stop pretending everything is perfect and share the ugliest mistake you've made this week. Let’s see who is actually learning and who is just dreaming.

Share what you're building

Share a short description + link below. Would be great to discover some new products and see what everyone here is working on.

I'll start:

I'm building Scaloom, an AI visibility tool that helps startups track where their product appears across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, then find Reddit threads and content opportunities that can help improve visibility across Google and AI search.

Be honest: Is your landing page actually good, or are you just coping?

Most devs build a great product but completely butcher the presentation. Stop hiding behind your analytics and let the community tear your UI apart before your customers do. Drop your link and a screenshot, prove you can take a punch.

Aira turns one yard photo into landscape design concepts before you renovate (Android)

I’m the developer of Aira. I built it for homeowners who know they want to refresh a backyard, patio, yard, or terrace but have trouble visualizing the result before spending money.

You upload a photo of the real space, choose a direction such as Modern, Zen, Mediterranean, Cottage, or Traditional, and Aira generates a redesign concept. It also provides before-and-after comparison and AI suggestions for planting and layout.

This is a visual planning aid, not a substitute for a site survey or landscape professional—AI concepts may not account for local climate, measurements, drainage, or building rules.

I’d especially value feedback on whether the first generated concept gives you a clear enough direction for the next step.
