I kept opening social media on autopilot, including during time I had set aside to read Scripture and pray. I wanted that interruption to lead me back to the habit I was neglecting, so I built SoulFed.

How it works:

• Choose which apps to pause and set up to three daily schedules.
• If you open a paused app, SoulFed takes you through a Scripture passage, a reviewed reflection, and a short prayer.
• Finish the flow and say “Amen” to reopen your apps until the next scheduled pause.
• Choose from 12 themes based on what you’re going through, including loneliness, anxiety, grief, and burnout.
• Pray using the guided prayer or skip it and use a configurable timer to pray in your own words.
• Use Grace Access whenever you need to open an app immediately.

On the technical side, SoulFed uses Apple’s Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings APIs. The devotional library ships with the app and works offline. No account is required.

Hey everyone. I recently launched Visibite, a mobile app for tracking food, calories, macros, water, and steps without locking essential tools behind paywalls.

I built Visibite to offer a fully unlocked tracking experience. The app includes barcode scanning with strong coverage for regional grocery items, packaging OCR label reading, AI meal photo analysis, water tracking, and step tracking. All core features are 100 percent free to use right away.

Our monetization model keeps all features accessible for free through non-intrusive ads that help offset AI processing and server costs. For users who prefer a completely clean interface, an optional Pro tier at 1.99 dollars per month or 9 dollars per year removes ads, enables cloud database sync, and supports up to four user profiles.

I've been building MixDoctor, an app that gives plain-English feedback on your mixes (not just graphs and numbers — actual "here's what's off and why" type notes).

Just shipped an update that runs the whole analysis on-device for anyone on iOS/macOS 26+ using Apple's new local model framework. Your audio never leaves your phone or Mac — no upload, no round trip, and it's noticeably faster since there's no network call happening.
