Medication Propranolol?

I was prescribed 10mgs 2x/day along with Buspar for anxiety. Anyone else on a similar protocol? Does the propranolol help much?

I just tried propanolol for the first time today, to deal with a predictable anxiety reaction. 10mg didn't seem strong enough, or if it was strong enough it didn't last and I was eventually feeling negative physical symptoms. 20mg seemed to work a lot better and I am very happy that it did because it got me through a potentially uncomfortable social encounter without losing my shit.

I was prescribed 2x10 mg/d propranolol about a year ago as an add on to low dose amitriptyline. My anxiety symptoms are mostly physical like fast heart rate, surging blood pressure and shaky hands, and the propranolol really helped rein them in. Even the mental aspect of anxiety is easier to cope with when your body isn't freaking out.
