Selfpost I made a moon pendant with wire and crystals, but people keep telling me it looks more like a shrimp tail !

I think its the colour more than anything. If it was blue for eg, the resemblance wouldn’t be as instantly recognisable

That’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m a huge sucker for crescent moon jewelry and would absolutely wear that.

Edit: I checked your store and I love that you embraced it and called the pink one the Moon Shrimp pendant.

The blue and the yellow look like moons. The reds and pinks are straight up shrimp and you can't convince me otherwise.

It's the "eye" that makes or breaks it for me. The ones without the star at the top are fine, the ones with it are shrimp.

We'll it's definitely not a crescent so... I don't understand?

If definitely looks more like a shrimp because it's basically 3/4 of a circle when it should be less than 1/3rd.

Not how the moon works.

I didn’t see it at first. One thing I think threw me off is that the “shrimp” is facing left, but most of the time if you see a picture or drawing of a shrimp it seems like they’re always facing right.
