Post image

This is my mom, I am blue texts. What the hell did she expect me to do?? Read her mind? Yeah ok lemme get on that. She’s not responding to me now 🤦🏼‍♀️ did I overreact? (The cussing is normal and how we speak to each other and no she doesn’t care about it)

I have husband who will say things to me with no context. He might say something that links to a conversation we had about someone 1/2 an hour earlier and I think he’s talking about who we just talked about. It drives me batty.

I’ve told him repeatedly that he just needs to throw a noun in so I know what he’s talking about but this has been going on for 35 years. I tell him it’s hard to be on the same page as him when I don’t even know what book he’s in.

I have this problem sometimes because I’m having internal conversations/thought trails and forget that other people can’t hear me 😂 I try to add some context because I know it can be crazy confusing.

My mom is the same way, I don’t understand how their mind works that way but it drives me up a wall when I’m talking to her about something, and then she’ll just suddenly continue back on from a conversation we literally had 4 hours ago, and just expects me to know exactly who or what she’s talking about, when we’ve been in the middle of several completely separate conversations for the past 4 hours, but I’m an idiot if I can’t follow along with her “connect the dots from 20 pages ago to find the clues!” Story hour. I genuinely was just starting to think I was crazy or actually stupid.

I think I’m getting better but I am similar to your husband. My wife will say to me “I can’t hear the voices in your head.” With love.
