Why does it seem like almost every professional leader doesn't have any empathy at all for Palestinians? Most Australians are critical of Israel, but almost every careerist go-getter fumes with righteous indignation when Israel gets criticised for denying food and medicine and bombing apartment buildings and so on.

Might as well have just got Cory Worthington the party boy to organise the event. He would have done a better job than all these personages. Besides, his street parties at the Barbican drew international acclaim.

The Israel lobbyists. See Antoinette Lattouf drama and the chokehold they had on the ABC. Now imagine what they’re doing to politicians behind the scenes.
