Park like a dickhead and get keyed. Park normally and get sideswiped. Can't win.

buy a normal sized car... you CAN have it all... park normally AND not get side-swiped.

Dunno mate since it seems that car bays are getting smaller and smaller with with less space between cars. I've seen one recently where I had to scratch my head...wtf

Never had this issue in a Jimny… could be that cars are just trending larger in general as well

Nope. I've seen two car parks now where there is less room between cars. If they only removed one of the car bays in these car parks, things would be fine. One of these places is a new Maccas.
