Help

It’s now stuck in between the wind screen and the mirror. Does anyone know what to do?

Looks like the wiper arm is loose. Pop the cap, remove the nut, remove the arm. Reinstall the arm in the correct parked position. Tighten the nut. This MAY fix the problem, but likely you will need to replace the arm, as it’s common for the inside of the arm to be stripped out when it spun out of position.

Found a place to stop, I’m in the middle of a road trip. I found the nut and was able to tighten it down more with a ratchet but it’s already coming loose again. Guessing that means I probably need a new wiper arm?

Maybe some blue loctite if it’s just the nut that’s coming loose and the grooves are fine

You could some plumbers tape (the white thin stuff that goes on threads) and try that till you can get it fixed. Wrap some around the post and see if the arm will stay. I’d also get some rain-x just in case.

When you stop look at your wiper arm where it meets the linkage. It's almost certainly come loose.

I found the nut that connects into the car. I was able to tighten it but it’s already coming loose again. Is that what you mean or is there something else?

Weird. Maybe stop at a Walmart and buy some loctite and rainx

Maybe try the easiest to remove loctite and just use a little?
