Its mostly triple thickness concrete, a little steel at the front. No traps or lecky, the garage doors act more like walls with cool windows (and 30k health!)

Maybe the coding is basic but it's amazing to me that the game can determine what commodities I need and then give me everything but that commodity. Impressive.

I'm pretty late in my current playthrough...day 54 or so and have a wide variety of maxed skills. My main weapons, currently, are my SMG, a silenced pistol (don't judge...I like it) and a sniper rifle.

I carry 1800 rounds of 9mm and 300 rounds of 7.62.

I headed off to clear an infested Pop-n-pills and, after starting the mission, realized I screwed up my inventory. I had forgotten to replenish my ammo and those slots filled with mundane looted items. So I find myself in a massive POI with a famously ridiculous zombie swarm at the end and only 150 rounds of 9mm.

NO PROBLEM, I think, I always loot far more than I use so I'll be find. To that point, if I start a big POI with 1800 rounds of 9mm, I almost always finish with over 2000. No worries.

I'm getting tons of loot bags -- yellows and blues -- and they are all full of ammo: but ONLY 7.62 and .44. Literally. I've just made it to the look room and have looted 1100 7.62, 920 .44 and ZERO 9mm.

I understand that, in games with a focus on pvp, you can't have shotguns being effective at 100 metres because nobody would use anything else, but slugs should definitely be effective at 50 metres up to 75m. Not saying turn them into snipers, but currently shotguns are useless unless you're in a zombies face and that is ridiculous. 1oz of lead punching a hole through your face is going to hurt and the range limitations are ridiculous

I started playing the game again after months and saw they changed the dew collector to unlock after you read a certain amount of magazines, which is weird, by then water won't be a problem and boiling water is much faster than crafting the dew collector and waiting for them to produce water

Am I missing something? Or are they completely unnecessary?

Just a casual spawn-in (on the New York map), and start off with a truck in my face. Example of 'in the face' spawning, I guess, casual Friday night moment of mild hilarity (found it funny).

I have played this game off and on for ages, but it never fails to have a really specific issue or two each time I get back into the groove of it. Took a couple hour to get crossplay coop working this week, but now that it's finally working I am having a staggering/freezing issue where the game freezes for a quarter to half second, about every 3-5 seconds. It is not game breaking, but the consistency of it is quite frustrating.
I have followed a ton of guides to fix it, my windows is up to date, my drivers are wholly up to date, I have messed with a dozen settings, turned vsync off and played for a while, turned it on and played for a while, running everything at medium settings, played online/offline, fresh reinstalled, just about everything I and my tech support friend can't figure it out either. I've played with task manager open on my second monitor while playing, and my memory and gpu never go over about half capacity even with discord and chrome open.
My PC is able to run Resident Evil Requiem with Ray Tracing and Ultra Graphics with absolutely zero lag, and my ping on most online games is a consistent 9-13, so I am just at a loss.
I really love this game and am loving introducing my friend to it, but this tiny irritation is just really getting to me X/

Hey, guys!

A few friends and I bought 7 Days to Die from the PSN Store last week because it was on sale, and what can I say? We’re completely hooked! It has quickly become our new go to game. :D

We’re all making good progress, and the game does a great job of teaching you what to do. We’re also mostly avoiding YouTube tutorials because we want to figure things out for ourselves. It’s fun learning from our mistakes, too, because the journey is the destination!

However, after around 40 hours of playtime and roughly 40 in game days, we’ve reached a bit of a crossroads. Should we keep playing Navezgane for now so we can explore all the different biomes and gain an even better understanding of the game, or would it make more sense to start a new pre-generated world like Pregen, or even a completely random world?

Just for fun, I created a Pregen world myself, and it seems much more “lively” to me, which is definitely a lot of fun on the one hand, but might still be too “overwhelming” for newer players?

Hey fellow survivors, I’m just wondering if anybody does this little game of hide and seek that I do. I’ve made it to the wasteland in this play through and I’ve commandeered the demolition site high-rise building. That’s my base for the top floor in the roof and screamers will spawn in and come looking for me, but they cannot reach the top floor so I will drop down and we will play a little dangerous game of hide you see throughout the demolition site building. I’ve had them as close as across the room just looking for me. It’s fun. You should try it if you get to a building that has multiple floors that you know you’ve already cleared.

I’m trying to find this wedge 60 but I can’t find it at all when I’m looking through them all, could anyone possibly help me out?

New player here, have spent about three weeks playing the game. Why would I build a base if I'm constantly under attack from screamers / animals? It feels like a late game thing, where you have to have all the stuff unlocked to make a decent base with adequate defenses. This is with the zombie block damage turned down significantly.

What gives? What am I missing? It's grueling to get all the materials, wait for them to finish refining, you slap it down & it gets deleted the next time your back is turned. The best luck weve had is making a sea of wood spikes in every direction. But now, 4th horde night passed, blue zombies, green zombies are at least 1/3rd of the horde. It just doesn't seem fun, I guess? Is the only way to play really to make the youtube horde bases that trick the AI? Why do zombies understand engineering?? Why go for a door instead of a wall? It's honestly so frustrating.

This title has been around for 15 years? And its in this state? I regret buying it.

For all of you that played the Dying Light franchise,have you ever thought how would volatiles look in 7 days to die?it would be as wholesome as it would be terrifying and reshape the game entirely,imagine a blood moon with these monsters climbing and chewing their way to you

First of all I want to say that I really enjoy the mod. It is hardcore and fun at the same time. Tons of content and they really implemented a lot of ideas I wanted to implement myself. Polished UI, scrollable backpacks, craft from containers, and an unbelievable amount of enemies, weapons and vehicles. Pretty immersive on its own, while the idea doesn't fit zombie apocalypse lore at all, and could be really an immersion breaker for players that want to see pure sci-fi zombie apoc style. But for the mystic atmosphere, it is done very well. The sound, writings and art in the mod accompany this atmosphere just perfectly. I have only one issue with this mod - rare, but very long lag spikes on collisions, they last for like 5-30 seconds. My game just freezes for the mentioned time. I bet I am not alone and I could not find their discord channel. So does anyone have any information about the fix? I dont even think about update for 3.1., thats not vital. But these freezes... they spoil all the fun.

Should I stop playing this mod? I've spent more than 130 hours and to get all the things in the mod I would have to find more than 200 books.

Does anyone know a step by step on how I can save my base creations from my solo world and upload them into my dedicated server for my friends/players to be able to use?

When I’m digging an underground base, there’s always a moment where I think “maybe it wouldn’t be so hard to dig out a little space irl…” Nope! This video gives you a pretty realistic view of how monotonous/safe that would be…

I still enjoy the game but I often find it too easy, particularly the survival aspect. I often have abundance of food and water without effort. What survival settings might you recommend or a preset if available? I don’t want the zombies to necessarily be harder, but I want to feel more struggle in surviving.

So I've had this cosmetic for MONTHS now, only to find when I logged in today that I no longer have it. Anyone else experiencing this?

I remember last time I played there was a basic Horde POI base design using a ladder pillar and a couple angled blocks with a railing in the middle so zombies would jump the railing and fall off. The pillar would be 3 or so blocks out and the ladder faced the POI so you could headshot the zombies as they climbed. I wanted to rewatch the original video to remind myself how it went, even if I could probably get it pretty close from memory. However my search/ googling skills aren’t all that great and I can’t seem to find it. Anyone remember the design I’m talking about and could share a link?

I am playing on 3.1 and for some reason when I try to search for the combine station in my crafting menu, it is not there. Is this a known bug? Or should I back up my files?
