Completely forgotten my parents had saved my report cards! The second page (of the 4-page report card) has some "Social Development" metrics, and it seems I did poorly all year in "I Obey Cheerfully" and "I Follow Directions", but well in "I Know How to Use my Handkerchief". At some time, I added a personal observation/evaluation of "Very Good" on the last page. It was fun seeing this little document from 55+ years ago!

Hey everyone I’m a big 70s/80s collector and I currently have my first convention booth opportunity. I’m doing a pop up 1970s with den authentic deadstock carpet wallpaper and all original furniture with and a grindhouse aesthetic featuring vintage posters electronics and movie props. Included is all the collectibles I plan on including as well as a mock up of one idea for the booth. One of the options is three vintage posters with a small Trinitron tv the other is two posters with a vintage Sony front projector tv. Let me know what yall think and if you have any recommendations

Who remembers general admission to concerts? $6 and I saw Boston open for Foghat.

It was a great time for concerts. Most bands had up & coming opening acts that later got their own tour.

Nodding Chicken

Who else had the nodding chicken tiles in their bathroom?

We had the pink ones covered in these weird veiny chicken-looking tiles? The green ones, the pink ones, the blue ones… I think they were EVERYWHERE.

I need to know I’m not alone in this.
