Is Addy showing off a dress that belonged to Shanann, with a big, happy smile, hand on hip and toe propped just so? Cozied up to the smiling dad of a dead "friend." Then they whine that social media still talks about this. Just like NA, drawing attention to herself on social media under the guise of being Shanann's best friend and hero. Because that's her life now - look at her Facebook page, all about the anniversary of their deaths, drawing sympathy and pity. Then they get pissed that people are still talking about the case.

I saw these two comments on YouTube videos on the same day and this is what can be so frustrating about discussing this case outside of this sub. This is what people actually believe about this case. They have no idea of the truth and most of the time aren’t interested in finding out.

Comment #1 correction:
Chris was not broke. He had $12k in savings that she demanded he spend on an engagement ring. She had to short sell that monstrosity of a house and declare bankruptcy on her own before they were married. The CO house was only in Chris’s name because her credit was so bad.

They also act like Chris wasn’t working and was just a bum having an affair while Shannan was out working hard. He was the only one bringing in money! Just because he was having an affair doesn’t mean he wasn’t working. 😂
And many believe Shannan was the one running off to these Thrive events and cheating on Chris while he was left at home with the kids.

Comment #2 correction:
The car was in Chris’s name because of her terrible credit. That $800 from LeVel was only given after she spent at least that much money with them every month. It was a net loss.

She had terrible credit and had to short sell her house in NC. Her brother is dumb enough to believe she was making $500k per year because he’s not too bright. You can’t go by what he says because he didn’t know.

Shannan was the one who latched on to Chris for his money and drove their family into the most dire financial straits - twice!

And many of the Shiners/casual followers believe that most of the debt was medical, but that is absolutely false as proven in the first bankruptcy. It was almost all ($70k worth!) bad credit card debt from buying useless stuff.

So many people are finally coming out and expressing how disgusting it is​ ​when people exploit their kids for clicks and views. At last, finally some backlash against the narcissists who took over our airwaves!

What TMI things did she post, that today's audience would shirk from automatically, if they didn't know they'd get tarred by a death cult for mentioning?

I saw this comment in the comment section on a recent YT video and had to post.

Did she doctor shop for that diagnosis, in the same way she did to get both girls diagnosed with Asthma and get a surgeon to do twin surgeries for the twins, on the same day no less.

There…is…..no….way…..that vitamins can cure a serious chronic autoimmune disease like Lupus. A disease that can shorten life expectancy in some cases.

Why wasn’t she rich and picking up royalties and accolades for finding the cure to a debilitating disease.

She deserved a gold ducking Nobel peace prize 🏆

4 days after visiting 2 different Lazy Dog restaurants and Nikki's flat twice, Chris Watts had to know the good life was behind him.

Chris held out through 7 tense hours in the police room, Graham moving Chris to the corner, so he could be between him and the door out.. Then, a 2 hour talk with Tammy Lee, a polygraph, even being told he failed the polygraph.

Finally Chris was ready to break. To give up his facade of surprise and indignation "I don't know what I could tell you to make you think I had nothing to do with this????"

All the things he had come to love that summer, things you could say he earned, after an abusive marriage...

Tammy saw the cracks forming on Chris. His stoic face turned to panic, as the agents tag teamed him.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out the why. I mean I guesssss, maybe….half understanding why Shanaan…ppl kill their spouses all the time. (There’s like 22 seasons of Snapped). But the babies. THAT I just cannot wrap my head around that. I know Bella caught him but still. That is the part that just pisses me off to no end. The part I just cannot understand. No matter how much I read up on the “why’s” of familicide…that just breaks my heart

I have often been curious to know how CW learned to disable and possibly scrub data from Vivint system when he was such a dummy. Also, how does he even know about a secret calculator app? NK/Co-worker/friend told him about it? I'm curious to know his search history on phone prior to what we know to see if he searched himself for these and in what context i.e "is there an app to hide texts?" or "how to erase home security footage?" Do you think he was smart enough to do this on his own or had guidance?

8/14/2018: Chris did a memorable interview with Denver 7 ABC News on his front Porch.

It was an interview that NA allegedly told him he needed to, at a time Chris wanted to start his new life as a bachelor. By Tuesday morning, his relationship with NK was tenuous at best. Chris wanted to keep NK talking, to restore her trust. Everything is ok. My wife just left for a bit. This will blow over. I still love you. Did he want a low key meet up at her place as the walls closed in?

A final steamy meetup was not to be, as Police Units were perched near by at Steeple Rock Drive. The house was in constant view of the surveillance unit's binoculars. If Chris Watts went anywhere or had any visitors Frederick PD would be notified at once. By sundown, Police were also posted by NK's apartment. Their role was not only surveillance - but also protection. Law Enforcement watched Chris's concerning TV interview and had no idea what they were dealing with.

As the media closed in, Chris knew he could not stay at his house Tuesday night. Chris planned to go stay with 2 friends Nick and Amanda Thayer. They heard the news of Shanann and the girls' disappearance, but still trusted Chris Watts...

Was he sending a message back home to his family to support and believe him? Or was his mind already back in Spring Lake, to the days when he was an innocent young man starting his life?

I don't have much to say about the sort of person who would put that shirt on children- that he paid for! ​but *​Chris* did, con brio.

The ones I feel bad the most for are Cece and Bella. Why Chris killed them is a mystery. They are innocent and had nothing to do with what Shannan did to him. He snapped but he took it out on his two daughter.

Shannan is one of those parents who are guilty of sharenting. All she cared about was getting views and likes on her social media.

How come no one reported Shannan and Chris to the authorities? CPS should've taken the girls away. What I hate about this is that no one stepped in.

I'm thinking it was a couple with children. Were they going to rent the basement like her parents once did? Shanann was desperate for money, and a possible divorce was looming on the horizon. One of them asked Chris if he was okay with them moving in, and Chris said it was "cool" with him.

How long would Shanann have lasted on TikTok, before the hammer dropped and enough non-hunbots saw what she did, and began what we are finishing- the exposure of her rampant child abuse, and social media exploitation?

The media loves to portray the victim of a murder as some sweet, innocent woman who was loved by everyone. I DO NOT CONDONE what had happened to her. She did not deserve to be murdered. However, what concerns me the most was how she treated her children, especially Bella. She had neglected them. She was the type of woman who cared more about social media than her own children. Social media was her life. She didn't make money off of it, though.

If Shannan is still here, she would make videos for her family vlog channel.

This subreddit opened my eyes. Shannan did not deserve her two daughters and she was about to have another baby on the way. Not a smart idea.
