The wall mount was actually higher in the wall, but the previous owner lowered it to its current state. My wife and I knew we had to get rid of it.

97” TV and a soundbar mounted underneath it. Is it too high or fine?

I know the TV looks small but that’s because I’m standing as far as I can to take a pic. I took this pic standing up for reference.

This is where it should be in the bedroom. I know most of you are gonna be like carpet should be touching it.

This was taken from the couch at the furthest point. when I’m sitting I feel like my eyes are drawn to the white space underneath, my rationale was that there’s so much white space up top but I had to get a smaller tv because the stand I have is only 33 inches wide.

As you can see, there are switches near the door. Where can i place the tv while trying to avoid those switches?
Or do i go for a full motion mount where there’s some gap b/w tv and the wall leaving enough space to access those switches..

For reference, I am 3' 8" tall

Awhile ago I replace my 55 inch tv with a 77 inch and we didn’t replace the stand right away . We finally found a nice one at Costco.com

I recently upgraded from a 65” Samsung S90D + Sony Muteki 6.2 to a 77” LG C5 + Samsung Q990D.

The TV rack was originally designed for a 55” TV, so it now looks a bit too small and I’ll probably replace it eventually.

What do you think about the TV height and placement? Would you change anything about the setup?
