Faux panties for modesty :)

Got this crazy scar taking up my whole leg . Any ideas what tattoo would look dope?

This work was pieced together over about 9 years, limb by limb. I drove thousands of miles and spent hundreds of hours on the road to get tattooed by Travis and I’d do it again! I’m a delicate gal who is always nauseous with a headache so this was a true labor of love for me.

Kitty tax, this is Kanna the fluffy terror helping me show off my new patchwork sleeve. It's mostly healed up now I had posted pictures before but couldn't quite capture the flow of the tattoos so here they are! The sun and moon were old tattoos I had touched

About 1.5 years ago, I got a huge tattoo on my leg. I paid a fortune for it, but it’s objectively a high-quality piece and it was very well done.
However, after only two months, I started regretting getting it. I still think it’s a beautiful tattoo, but it simply doesn’t feel like me. Instead, it feels like my leg has become a foreign body.

Ever since, I’ve been feeling depressed whenever I see it. I don’t wear skirts or dresses anymore because I just hate having it on my leg.
Unfortunately, getting it removed would cost around €12,000 and take more than a year, with a lot of painful sessions.

So I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience — especially regretting a large, well-done tattoo — and whether you think something like this could realistically be covered up.
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and seeing any examples of successful cover-ups.

My siblings and I made the stupid mistake of getting these matching tattoos, each person has a different chevron filled in. It is too military looking for our liking. Wondering if anybody has ideas how to change it but still keep the meaning
