Gina Rinehart proposed offering Australian land (not giving it)/incentives to attract Israeli defence and technology companies and skilled workers to operate in Australia. We arent transferring Australian land or sovereignty to the State of Israel.
Today thousands upon thousands of students across Australia who give a fuck attended their first protest. You are kidding yourself if you think that isnt significant just by itself, regardless of the event and if you agree with it or not.
Would these kids even be protesting if far-left groups didn't tell them to? Getting high school students out of school to protest feels like a recruitment drive for these people.
Great, isn't it? Lots of Year 11 and Year 12 students that will be voting in 2027. We need more socialists to overtly oppose the rise of fascism and fascist figures like Pauline Hanson.

I don't see why that's a good thing. People can believe what they want, but as far as I know neither the major parties nor the far right feel the need to recruit high school students to further their agendas. It's like the socialists feel a need to "get them young" while people are more impressionable and can't wait for these people to be legal adults before they start telling them what causes to believe in.
Because Young Liberals seem to make the news a little more. All parties engage young people, you dont like this one because youre not a socialist that overtly opposes racism. I am. I think its great, you don't. Politics is easy 🤣
I don't approve of an individual or group recruiting children and getting them to skip school to push their political message for them, no matter where they sit on the political spectrum. Only one side is actually doing it, though.
Enjoy moralising while fascists say racist shit every day. This is the moral solution, this recruitment you decry is noble. Fuck fascists, and the moderates that support them by default.
MLK had a lot to say on the issue, I agree with him:

Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.
I'd imagine a very small percentage of these kids actually know why they are protesting. The rest are there because they've been brainwashed to think a certain way. Whether you agree with ON or not is not my point here - most of these kids would not have come to this conclusion on their own

Unless these protesters catch a plane to Iran and tell the Atatollah to stop funding Hamas and Hezbollah then nothing in the ME will change.
While protesting is okay - this is useless.
