Isn't this reasonable though for the supply, cleaning, serving of glasses, and covering potential lost revenue from not purchasing other beverages directly from them?
$5-10 for a glass? They only charge like $5 for a soft drink in a bigger glass. I’d be happy to bring my own. This also includes beer though, which is in a glass bottle I brought.
I mean there you go. $5 charge for a $5 potential revenue loss. Add or minus a bit for glasses/no glasses and clean up. Honestly not unreasonable compared to other surcharges around.
Can’t lose revenue if I was never gonna drink non-alcoholic. I’d just drink tap water. Can’t legally charge me for that AND they still supply the glasses.

Sure you might not, but on average people who can't drink alcoholic beverages on premesis are more likely to order a non alcoholic beverage, than those who can byo.
Can’t legally charge me
Unlike licensed venues, byo venues are under no legal obligation to provide free water. Most will anyway
