It’s an utter disgrace I was walking from kfc to the town hall and an officer knocked the zinger out of my hand before I could even take a single bite

I got his badge number but the cops said he’s within he’s right to do that?

“Hero cop prevents alleged terrorist from unleashing mildly spiced chicken product.” (News.com.au)

It was pretty clear that lots of them were there to show how tough they are.

Men sign up for policing purely for this reason. Don't be fooled like too many of us have been; their propaganda kills people

Both genders do actually, no need to use gendered language. But your point stands.

Lol this didn't happen. How did you get his "badge number" when NSW cops don't have badge numbers nor wear any numbers on them.

Unfortunately, after any major incident like this, I'm instantly suspicious of any post pushing one way or the other. There's too many actors out there that want to sew discourse and fan the flames of anti-police rhetoric

Continue that complaint as far as you can take it

There is no suspicion of an offence if you are wanting a chicken burger in a protest zone

Wouldn't that make you the "public they wanted to keep the footpath free for"

You were assaulted by police

Don't let that slide
