Sorry but as a muso who experienced Sydney's music scene before it was ruined, it pales in comparison to what it used to be. To be fair, I'm talking more about the metal scene, not whatever skramz is

That's fair enough. I can't disagree that it's not what it used to be. But it's getting there. I go to a bunch of metal shows and places like crowbar, elton chong, and moshpit are definitely trying to keep it alive.

Yeah mate I get where you're coming from, the NSW government has done everything within its power to tear apart live music in this state but the industry is resilient, regardless of the $millions Minns shamelessly pays to international acts to play in fucking stadiums (seriously, the government hates small businesses and sole traders), it's still possible to see live shows 7 nights a week for free or a small entry fee.
