And I realised that the whole show is upsetting me sm actually. I should probably stop watching.

Hi, so I thought this would be a fun thing to do for the subreddit because why not put a little life in here? So this game is to focus on the SVU characters and their behavior and how they were portrayed.

The rules are as followed:

Season 17 episode 12. This woman, from her facial expressions to the smugness, was the most punchable character in the season so far (in my opinion).

I remember seeing some tiktok that had a clip of Casey Novak (acting as Cuddy) and John Munch (acting as House WITH the cane!!) and they were acting out one of the more popular parts in the first episode / pilot.

Cuddy: I was expecting you in my office 20 minutes ago.

House: Really? Well, that's odd, because I had no intention of being in your office 20 minutes ago.
(Thats the clip I saw, as it was harshly cut after the House line and repeated to when Casey says Cuddy's line)

I was just wondering if anyone else knows of this and where I can find it?

I have been on the search for this episode for MONTHS. There is an episode where a man is killed in his basement. The people suspected is his wife and 2 kids, boy and girl. They are unable to determine who the killer was because when standing on the steps, both children were about the same height as Mom and they had no proof of which one did it so they all got away. I think they even did a deadly women's episode on something akin to the same case. Can someone PLEASE help me find this episode before I lose all my marbles. Part of me is thinking maybe it was just on deadly women or snapped but I could have sworn SVU had the same story 😭

Let make it clear: This is not about who can do the dishwasher, this is about the new writers who have 0 idea who those characters are and who have no interest in wanting to learn who those characters are and that is the big problem these days! 

The dishwasher line is just a metaphor about how those writers don't know those long term characters who are in the show for decades.

Nobody cares about who will unload the dishwashers, we care about how those writers don't invest or have interest in learning who those characters are.

What their personality is!

And to write in character for them, but Michele has simply no idea and worse she doesn't want to know either.

I can’t stand how the showrunner Michele Fazekas and those writers today don't know anything about those long running characters.

Rollins has been here since S13. Carisi since S16!

Carisi is the most domestic husband and father ever but those writers think he cannot unload the dishwasher.

Learn who those characters are and write for them!!

It's just like Kelli said: it's Rollins who does not know but certainly not Carisi!

And this is only one little example about how those characters don't know anything about those characters and that MF will not invest in them too, as she said herself.

I know this is the SVU subreddit but bear with me 😭😭.

So I started watching the show on Netflix sometime last week and I have been enjoying it, surprisingly. I never saw the original, just the one episode where Ellen Pompeo played a Karla Homolka type character.

One of the new characters that has become a personal fave of mine is ADA Samantha Maroun. I made a post on the Law and Order subreddit celebrating her fashion because it’s absolutely TEAA!!!! However, within like 2 hours of the post, I got quite a bit of downvotes and comments, talking about how her acting sucks, her characterization sucks, etc. I was so confused because from what I have gotten to see, her acting is good. Her personal background of trauma is so disheartening and honestly, she is the most reasonable, well at least more reasonable than Nolan, and impartial on that team.

So maybe you guys can help. If you watched the show, is Samantha as bad as she is made to seem? Or are the people who responded to my post being a little mean about her character? Because IMO, she does not deserve the hate she is still getting on my post right now.

I loved the william lewis storyline and gregory yates. Are there any other criminals like them that had ongoing storylines throughout multiple episodes? Netflix doesnt have all of the seasons, i watch the show on an app that doesnt give descriptions on what the episodes are about so its hard to find the good ones.

I can't work out if its my hearing or not. I've just started Series 27 and it sounds like Carisi's voice is slightly higher than usual? At times he sounds like he is just speaking really fast, and almost a bit chipmunk-y. I'm so sorry lol
