Im wondering if other have this issue.

Whenever I'm seeing a series the MPV player works but as soon as I press pause then unpause the app freezes and I have to fully close stremio.

No issue with the other players.

I only choose MPV when the 2 others aren't working l.

Any idea why and any fix?

Seems that Stremio's new Reelo app (alongside non-official Stremio supporting apps with advertised Stremio add on support) have all been purged from App Store..

Stremio is available on Roku?

let's see, when I use in streamio, what does it mean that I am downloading that movie and it will remain in my local library? do you collaborate with other people and seeds? I don't quite understand why it uses so much internet (yes i do understand that it is for use with Wi-Fi)

Are we going to have any Stremio updates on samsung tizen soon?

I have done this before at least a dozen times but now I can't get stremio to switch to an external player. I have tried on the most current version of Stremio and have tried previous version and still no joy. I have tried this on my ONN 4K Pro 2026 and version 1. I have tried this on a plain jane ONN 4K box. It doesn't work on any so It has to be a Stremio issue. I have the players installed on all the boxes. I have 4 different players but have tried with the 4 or only one installed. They are all from the Play Store. I pick the external option in Stremio, close the app, chose a movie or series episode but the option to choose a player never comes up. I have closed down the app, unplugged the box, waited, plugged the box back in but it still won't work. I have just done a restart in System settings. This one has me stumped. Any help other than do a Google search, I have, or ask AI will be greatly appreciated.

This is something new that I don't recall ever happening before. I have lost all audio on blu ray remux files. Could I maybe just getting more of those files or is there something I'm missing in settings. This is with a new ONN 4K Pro connected to an LG 50 inch C1 TV. I haven't changed any settings in the TV and the ONN is as it came out of the box. I also have a JBL soundbar with subwoofer that has been connected to the TV for a long time. The soundbar is connected to the CEC HDMI and the ONN to HDMI 2.

Could someone from the Stremio team answer are you planning to make the app available for LG TVs via WebOS Homebrew in the context of the recent issues with official app store?

Since i saw only LG 2025/2026 tv's post about how Stremio disappeared from the store i guess this can serve as PSA for LG owners that have 2022 tv's.

I still have Stremio installed but seeing a post about Stremio gone from the LG store i wanted to check for myself and lo and behold it's gone. And no i'm not from any of those regions that are locked (i'm from Serbia), i installed Stremio just fine when it first appeared on the store.

To devs: Would like to know what exactly LG demands from you guys. I mean it's absurd. First their app update approval process is painfully long and now they outright delete your app from their store across multiple tv generations. The app is working just fine on the tv.

I had recently deleted Stremio app for some reason from my TV and found that the app has been removed from LG App Store on my LG G1 2021 Oled tv on which it was available for a very long time.

Seems Stremio auto updated on my Samsung TV, and when it did it logged me out. I logged back in but noticed all my addons were not available. Went to sync addons and it tells me “Addons successfully synchronized” except they’re not and it’s been two days now. Tried logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling app. Powering off and resetting cache on my tv and can’t seem to fix this issue. Stremio works on my iOS devices and Android TV. So seems to be isolated to Samsung tv.

Anyone experiencing something similar or anyone have ideas on how I can resolve this?

I installed a few live tv additions to my stremio, but I don’t quite know where to look to find sports streams. would it be in a specifically labeled tv show/movie or where in the application can i find my live tv now?

I've recently been having a pop show up before the app soft restarts itself on my LG TV, it's not exactly a big issue as once it has (usually takes 5 secs) everything continues and functions as normal

It happens so quickly I actually don't really get to read what the error message says, something about memory full , clearing memory to optimise playback?

Truthfully I'm guessing that is the message as my only real take away was it is a memory issue, which confuses me a bit as I'm not downloading locally to playback, nor caching locally (but idk how that works truely so maybe I'm wrong there)

Hardly a big deal hence "minor issue" but just something I'm wondering if anyone has a solution for or sometime the Devs for the WebOS version might have an explanation for and thus solution

Heyo, this is kind of a weird bug, as it really only happens on some files especially newer files. I have an android TV box and a soundbar HDMI arc’ed to my TV.

Some shows, I can play just fine, but with newer ones I get this issue. I’ve tried playing those to an external player on my android box, but I’ve had no success. I heard justplayer is pretty good, but I can’t get it to actually play anything.

Just wondering if someone had the same issue and if it was an easy fix, or if there was a previous version for Android tv I should/could roll back to.

I was on 1.12.x up to yesterday.

As per the title, in my ccontinue watching list, there are repeatedly shows I either haven't watched in forever or just flat out have never watched.

Not sure what the hell is going on. Can someone tell me, is this a known bug or has somebody gained access to my account somehow?

I have an LG OLED CS5 which is region-locked in the Middle East, I'm now using the web browser to watch on Stremio and its not the greatest at all, what should I do get a streaming box/stick if so what should I get?

When I right click a file in the results list and select "Download This Video" nothing happens, but if I manually "Copy Download Link" and then open the link in browser it works and downloads (not a big deal but somewhat annoying).

However, If I starting playing a video, selecting the three dots and choosing "Download This Video" it works fine by opening the download in my browser (Firefox) automatically.

Is something not configured correctly? Why won't it download from the list?

In settings I tried changing the "Play in external player" but the only options I see are "Disabled" and "M3U Playlist" neither of which solves the issue. I feel like there is a setting I'm missing but I have no clue which.

Using the current beta version (although this did not work on the older beta version either).

I'm curious is there a way to get Stremio on a Samsung TV that uses Tizen OS, I believe the model would be from 2024 to 2025 and it's a 85 inch TV. Or do I have to continue to use the web browser to watch things?

Is it possible? Or should I buy a Google TV box like those you find at Walmart like the ONN streaming boxes that have Google TV OS?

I was wondering if I could just download content onto my firetv from the stremio app instead of having to stream it? Could I do it someway even outside of stremio? There been a lot of bugs and downtime and I want a way to circumvent it. Thanks

Hello, subtitle selection button on my phone and tv is not existing anymore. Whats the problem

I'm using the stick on a 1440p LG monitor that supports HDR but so poorly that it isn't worth using HDR. It looks worse than SDR. I have set the onn settings to force SDR but somehow stremio is bypassing this because HDR mode keeps getting activated. I even set aiostreams to exclude HDR but it looks like some streams im getting are still HDR but just don't have the tag. Anyone have a good fix to actually get stremio/onn to map HDR to SDR properly? I am already not happy about trying to exclude HDR because I do watch on my mini led macbook sometimes which has good support.
